Completely renovated and beautiful interior end to end. Beautiful views from the hotel, both to be enjoyed from the lobby, terrace, restaurant, bar and pool area. Food was great and the ambiance very cool. Only note is that this is not your typical “chill-spa-quiet-time” retreat, there is lounge music and the vibe is more upbeat. We loved it !

The hotel is lovely, but there is still a far way to go before the overall experience matches the professionalism and hospitality levels you would expect from a hotel branding itself as luxury and among the finest. I will direct most of my feedback directly to the hotel, which seems most fair given the recently newly opened status, but for the purpose of this review I will just say that the quality of food is not at the level you would expect from the price tag. Breakfast is great, but lunch and dinner options are very overpriced and not impressive in any way.

Meget skuffende ophold på Rox Resort. Værelset var kun gjort klar til 1 person, selvom vi havde booket til 2, hvilket er helt uacceptabelt. Derudover blev vi opkrævet dobbelt pris for adgang til pool og spa i forhold til det, vi på forhånd havde fået oplyst. Da vi efterfølgende forsøgte at klage over fejlen, mødte vi ingen reel hjælp eller service. Som ekstra minus havde personalet heller ikke styr på menuen til maden. Alt i alt virkede stedet uorganiseret og langt fra det niveau, man må kunne forvente.

Fra Sean ved reception, til Luke ved restauranten, til AJ op ved pool-baren. Alle var simpelthen så venlige og gjorde virklig meget ud af servicen, som ikke kun jeg men også min 8 årig søn som jeg rejste med, lagde mærke til. Det er nemlig de små detaljer . Virklig en fin oplevelse. Min søn elskede at da var så mange spil på hotellet, kylling burgeren var hans favorit og så er badefaciliteterne selvsagt fantastiske. Selve stilen og stemning på hotellet er ens artig og det føles luksuriøs sametidig med meget homy. Det eneste minus hvis man skulle nævne noget er at der gerne måtte være et bredere tids interval for børnene at være i indendørs poolen også udover fra 7-10. Og nok også at man skal betale extra for Cappuccino ved morgenmaden, da kun filter kaffe er inkluderet. Det synes jeg bestemt burde inkluderes. Men ellers havde vi en helt fantastisk ophold og vil så gerne komme tilbage igen også med storebror!

Oppholdet svarte dessverre ikke helt til forventningene man har til et hotell i denne kategorien. Ved ankomst var det ikke mulig å sjekke inn før presis kl. 15.00, selv om vi kun var litt tidlig ute. Rommet var et superior-rom med balkong, men komforten ble dessverre påvirket av at ventilasjonen slo seg av i løpet av natten. For å få frisk luft måtte balkongdøren stå åpen, noe som medførte tydelig musikk fra spaområdet gjennom natten, samt støy fra varelevering og lastebiler tidlig om morgenen. Helhetsinntrykket ble derfor preget av manglende nattero og søvnkvalitet.
