We enjoyed having our “own” cabin. It was a duplex but felt like your own space. We were right by the playground, which my kids loved! We ordered food from the restaurant twice while we were there and it was good! It was a convenient location for our visit to Badlands & Mt. Rushmore. We also enjoyed having our own patio to sit outside and hangout.

Nothing fancy, but very nice

We just needed a basic room as a base while we visited the nearby parks, and Powder House was everything we needed. Clean, convenient, and the restaurant was very good. I would certainly recommend.

EV Charging, though down in the main parking lot, no problem leaving the car charging overnight. Great restaurant and (mostly) friendly front desk. Laundry close to our room was convenient. The location is kind of hidden, which makes it magical. The log cabin we stayed in and as we could tell from the others, we’re very well placed so that you weren’t right on top of your neighbor. Located in the woods, beautiful view, tranquil, and a lovely front deck porch Swing. We wanted to stay another night, but they were already booked so we had to move on. We would recommend it for a two nights stay. In addition, the breakfast restaurant was very nice. We arrived too late in the evening to have dinner so I have no comment on that.

The room was very clean. The only thing was our room was near the highway so we got the traffic noise & the trucks backing up to unload.
