"Out of the way on the Isle of Skye"
Such a delight to get away from the noise and explore this lovely island with the comforts of an excellent hotel. The grounds are located near a loch with plenty of parking. The reception staff are efficient and courteous. The room was extremely comfortable (bed, bathroom, amenities, closet space). We had three meals at the hotel and all were freshly prepared, delicious and beautifully presented. It was hard to leave!

"Super friendly staff in a very quiet environment "
we stayed for one night. Our hosts were super friendly and they made a delicious breakfast with home made scones, jam, bread, free range eggs from the neighbours and much more. all very relaxed and easy. the shore is a 10 minutes walk away, ideal for fishing and seal watching. On a clear night you can sit in the garden and watch a beautiful sky full of stars. the room and the bathroom were very clean and the beds were really comfortable.

"Nice hotel in a nice part of Skye."
Thoroughly enjoyed our two days at the Toravaig Hotel. The location was good, with hiking round Armadale Castle just down the road; and easy access to sights such as the Fairy Pools, Dunvegan Castle and the Tallisker Distillery. The restaurant served a fabulous meal in the evening, although for us as we were trying to keep the waistline in check, we felt it was a little too large to repeat 2 days in a row. Their chef is first class and I would definitely recommend eating here even if you're not staying. Breakfast was lovely as well. The staff couldn't do enough for us. A most enjoyable stay!

"Hotel At The Cuillins"
We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite upon arrival which sits in the turret. It afforded fantastic views of the Cuillins (weather permitting) and a large bathroom. We ate at the bar adjacent to (but not part of) the hotel which featured over 400 whiskies and good food in a more casual atmosphere. The Isle of Skye is a very popular destination these days. So, if you go be sure to plan and reserve well in advance. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall we found this the perfect place to stay and see the spectacular island from this fairly central location.

"Beautifully kept and run B&B"
My husband and I stayed at Kinloch Follart for three nights in August 2016. The B&B has beautiful views of Loch Dunvegan, especially from its gorgeous breakfast room. Each morning, Jon and Ben serve full, hot breakfasts which are delicious, fresh, and wonderfully filling for guests about to do a full day of hiking and touring Isle of Skye. We enjoyed the location which was a short drive to most attractions and to Portree, but also has a restaurant in walking distance if you prefer not to drive to dinner. Ben and Jon were very friendly and took the time to learn our preferences. They have keen attention to detail which made our stay that much better. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was also very clean. The rooms are quiet and stocked with water, tea, hot chocolate, and cookies. We loved coming home from a long day and diving into the cozy bed with a cookie and hot drink. Finally, the decor is well-chosen, with modern colors and local artwork. I hope to visit again.

Isle of Skye is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Isle of Skye, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Isle of Skye hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
