"It's Clean and Safe"
There are not a lot of accommodations in Millinocket, so you are very limited. This place looked to be the best out of the choices. The parking lot is a little wonky and could use a new paving due to potholes that you must maneuver. The pool is right there when you walk in, and you have to look for the signs for the front desk. We were greeted by a nice staff member, however she was new and didn't know where the ice machine was - she was helpful in steering us to where we could get a sit down meal. The rug in the hallway to our room looked new, but was bubbling up in the hallway, making it unsafe if you were not paying attention. Our room was very clean and tidy, but nothing to write home about. A bonus was that they had a coin operated washer and dryer on our floor. This is good for all of the hikers and boaters that use this hotel. This hotel seems to be family friendly - lots of hikers and boaters - people at the hotel were kind and friendly. The breakfast is bare essentials - toast, English muffins, yogurt, bananas, cereal and waffles. They have coffee, but not decaf - you can make decaf in the room. Rooms had a fridge and a small one cup coffee maker. Over all, I would stay there again - we stayed for one night to pick my child up from camp, so I know I will be back as she would like to go again. You just won't find a 4 or 5 star hotel in Millinocket.

"Hiking Mt. Katahdin"
My husband and I were looking for the closest place to stay in order to be near Baxter Park without camping. We absolutely fell in love with Tom and Darcy, the innkeepers. They truly made us feel right at home. AND....the breakfasts were outstanding!!!

"A sparkling gem in rural Maine "
I'm delighted to see what the Mill Inn + Cafe has done with the old Moosehead Furniture factory. The converted space is beautifully done, the rooms are spacious and artfully decorated. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time! We had the best room in the place with a view of the Piscataquis River and town center. As a Dover-Foxcroft native who's moved away, I'm so excited there is a great place to stay when I return to town.

"Modern hotel, very clean, quiet location"
Guests shouldn't be discouraged by the size of the motel....the rooms are modern, spacious and well appointed with plenty of parking in front of the building. The location is in a quiet secluded neighborhood. There is good signage to the property on the highway. Altho' there is no staff on site, the instructions for room access was easy. The motel does not provide daily room service which wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend a stay if visiting the Moosehead Lake area for snow mobiling or summer activities.

"Peaceful stay"
Our purpose for staying at this inn was merely as a stopover between Quebec City and Bar Harbor, ME, but we found ourselves lingering the next morning as the place was so peaceful. The river rushes by across the road and has a calming effect like the ocean. There was a wide front porch with tables and chairs, and hummingbird feeders that attracted dozens of hummingbirds. There is a friendly bar and restaurant area on the main floor--also where you eat your included breakfast--that has a comfy feel to it. Our spacious room had a comfortable king bed, a well-lit large bathroom, and a screened porch that also overlooked the river. We were very happy with this place.

Greenville is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Greenville, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Greenville hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
