Great place to stay in Goslar

Charming hotel, wonderful location

We had a pleasant time in this charming hotel. Excellent service, amazing breakfast, easy parking and a playground for our toddler. The only thing I would complain about is that the hotel has a bar with an outdoor area directly under some rooms. We got one of these rooms, and while the noise was not extreme, you could still hear people talking and smell cigarette smoke. We had our windows wide open (warm summer night) and found it a bit unpleasant. I think the hotel needs to re-think this layout or establish a non-smoking policy. Everything else was top-notch and would definitely return.

The room was smaller than we expected and the welcome in the reception was not welcoming and helpful. Goslar is an old town with small streets and simulator old hotelbuldings and therefore it would be good if the staff had followed us to the room as it was difficult to find. The cleaning was standard. No access to a fridge and no air conditioning.

Das Hotel liegt unweit des Marktplatzes mitten in Goslar. Aus unserer Sicht war alles in Ordnung: Das Personal war durchweg freundlich. Das Zimmer war eher klein, aber nett eingerichtet. Es gibt es tolles, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. An einem Abend aßen wir im hauseigenen Restaurant wirklich hervorragend. Vielleicht ist es gut zu wissen, dass es mehrere Gebäude gibt. Zum Essen mussten wir ein paar Meter gehen, was keineswegs negativ klingen soll. Hier würden wir wieder absteigen, wenn wir nochmal in Goslar sind.
