I stayed for a day as a transit to Calgary. It's okay for one night stay. Few things are need to improve. The welcome is not that much great. Bathroom toilet is broken.

I made a list and this is what I disliked: 1. a stinky tin can with cigarette butts by the door (outside) 2. drops of water fell on my head from a pipe hanging from a second floor room 3. sagging old cheetah print hide-a-bed couch 4. two large paint chips on the wall above the couch 5. cigarette burn on a chair 6. sink wasn't clean under the rim and around the drain 7. air conditioner could be reached by standing on chair, but I couldn't adjust. A/C extremely noisy and ran the entire time. I have not stayed in a room that was in such poor condition. For a positive, the queen bed was great- not too soft and not too hard.

The property is clean and the staff are accomodating except for the first receptionist that seems like she's in a hurry and not in a very good mood when we checked-in. As for the structure, it is quite old and it's noisy and you can't get a good sleep. You can hear all the movements and the washroom use from the room above you.

***ALERT*** to anyone staying at this place. The owner took my credit card out of my line of sight and wrote my credit card number down plus the ccv number. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!

Although the price was very high, it was on the low end of the scale for the area. Faucets in sinks, bathtub, and shower were all filthy. The floor had dirty spots. WiFi was had an average strength, but kept cutting out (I had to tether my cell phone for a virtual conference call). The A/C unit couldn't quite keep up with the 28 degree heat. Lastly, there was a kettle in the kitchenette, but no coffee maker or tea. I would not recommend this place.

was in a manual wheelchair, narrow bathroom really difficult to access. only powdered coffee, had to hike to "timmies". limited places to walk the dog, had to use her to drag me around the gravel lot. never saw the whirlpool or sauna, or at least these amenities were not highlighted at check-in. this is one of golden's more "affordable" (ie.,$250/night) hotels. but EXTREMELY basic. probably in your best interest to push on to revelstoke for a more relaxing stay.

The Hot tub wasn’t even hot, luke warm temperature instead and the room was very warm! The air conditioner was full of black mould mould. The heater cover kept falling off on its own, it was alright if you don’t have high expectations . We didn’t even stay the night to be honest.
