"Lovely Hotel"
Nicely appointed lobby and rooms, Clean, quiet and spacious rooms. My problem was with the duvet it is very heavy but when I took it off the bed there was no blanket so I was very cold all night and did not sleep well.

"Clean Rooms"
We were pleasantly greeted by a friendly employee upon check in. We asked for recommendations for a place to eat and a list of restaurants came with our room key with a 10% off if we show the restaurant our room key. We did that and were very happy with our dinner. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable along with quality pillows. We felt safe in this area. The breakfast was good. In the morning, it was obvious the walls were thin as we could hear other people getting ready. But, that was ok because we were up too. Our only issue was upon check out. The desk clerk asked if I wanted to charge the room on the MasterCard I made the reservation on. I said that I don't even own a master card and she said well, MasterCard or visa it's the same thing. I was in a hurry and said ok. Then I told her that I made my reservation on Expedia. She said that this must just be the portion that the hotel is getting and that Expedia gets the rest. I thought that was quite strange as I've used Expedia before and the hotel usually doesn't even know the rate I paid online. As I was in a hurry, I left and didn't think about this until today. I called Expedia and they verified that the whole cost was already paid to Expedia with my credit card and the hotel should NOT have charged me anything. Expedia called the hotel to straighten this out and I'm supposed to be getting a call or email from the hotel manager. I don't know who the hotel charged but it wasn't me.

"Great for the healthy"
Late check in, clerk was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean enough and big enough. Problems we had would be annoyances for some, but for those of us with health issues, it could be important. Other than the outlet near the sink, there was only one available outlet in the room. If we both needed to use a CPAP, one of us would have had to sleep on the small, hard, stained sofa, or else demand an extension cord. I wear contacts, and I couldn't plug the sink when I took them out. Scary. Breakfast: We are trying not to get type 2 diabetes, so we are avoiding carbs, Guess what the breakfast we paid for with the room charge was? Nothing but carbs. Our neighbor warmed up his truck early in the am and the smell of exhaust filled our room. The hotel is located in an industrial area. There's a paper mill right across the street, and you can smell the animals from the nearby meat packing plant.

"Excellent shopping location"
Room was very clean, very friendly staff and the location was ideal for shopping. We hate to pay a pet deposit but it's understandable. I get it, pets are messy. However, when the "deposit" is automatically non-refundable it's honestly just a fee. The $25 fee was the only bummer about our stay & wouldn't deter me from staying again.

"One of the better hotels "
On a trip through Kansas stopping at several other towns & hotels this one was one of the nicest. We were pulling 40 ft trailers & they even had room for parking. Agent at FD was nice enough to switch our room so we could be close to the vehicles. Very comfortable & room was so clean. Breakfast was one of the best also.

"Nice Hotel for a night on the go"
Check in was a disaster! The hotel some how canceled our reservation. It took 5 minutes arguing and showing the staff proof that I did make reservations and another 30 minutes for the staff to figure out how to get me a room. There was a lot of loud noise from the traffic going by. Breakfast was cold cereal, muffins, and waffles.

Garden City is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Garden City, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Garden City hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
