"Nice hotel but a bit far from the town centre."
Hotel was nice, but a bit far out of the centre. Rooms were nice and clean and breakfast was good, but typically the warm food was a bit cool. Parking is underground and costs 11 euros. There is enough space to park without difficulty. There is some free street parking outside but it always seemed to be full, so we just used the car park. Next door is a shopping centre with a handy food court. There are a few restaurants nearby but I would say you are better off eating somewhere in the town centre. We walked everywhere and it took about 30 mins to get to the town centre and the Alcazar. Almeria itself is OK. It's been used as a movie location, both the town and the Alcazar, as has the Tabernas desert which is nearby inland. We found the streets of Almeria to be a bit dirty.

"Clean and spacious hotel in Almeria"
This hotel is away from the tourist areas of Almeria and there are not a lot of restaurants in the area – and perhaps that’s the only negative. The hotel itself is an excellent value. Large rooms, clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a large mall across the street for shopping. There is also a fast food court there.

"Beautiful hotel in central location."
This hotel was lovely, perfect location in the old town - surrounded by great restaurants and a short walk to the Alcazaba. The two highlights of the hotel were the spa in the basement (unmissable) and the rooftop pool that overlooks the city. Our room was light and airy, there were a few odd quirks with the lighting and doors but nothing serious, and the bed was huge and super comfy. We only had one negative experience - we booked a spa + massage with a receptionist for our final evening, however when we went to reception (in our bath robes...) to check in to the spa there was no reservation for either the spa or a massage. The reception area has a door that opens on to the street - so trying to explain about our booking in our bath robes with people walking in from the street was very awkward. The hotel allowed us to use the spa with no charge, but all the massages were booked up so that was a bit of a shame. We believe the hotel also provided cava and chocolates in the room as an apology which was very kind (however there was no note, so we will never know!). Overall I would recommend this hotel - we enjoyed our stay. But maybe get a receipt or confirmation if you book into the spa!

Desk Staff were excellent and the room was smart and clean. I would recommend this Hotel and the value for money was excellent. The car park was nearly 12 euros and access and exit was a bit tight but very secure. Reception Lounge had very comfy furniture and WiFi was fast. Highly recommend this hotel and central location was perfect for me.

"Central hotel"
Hotel is very central to tourist attractions and 15 minute walk to the beach. Very clean basic no coffee facilities I was in room 108 as a single traveller and like most hotelier in the world no view for me. Room looked onto a wall even though I didn't spend time in the room didn't really know what the weather outside was until I went to reception.

"a few days in Almeria"
The hotel is fine for the money. The staff are helpful. There is free parking all around the area. Breakfast and the occasional pizza in the hotel cafe were good, the pizza very good. Wifi was reliable. Considering the hotel is on the N 340 it was remarkably quiet. It is a 20 minute walk to the city centre but we needed the exercise. We drove to the beach but that was fine.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Gador hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
