Good people.

Well I have to say this is probably the most welcoming clean hotel I've been to. The gentleman working are very polite and helpful and always have something kind to say. They do a very good job keeping the place clean and I'd recommend this to anyone.

I can't stress enough this Gold gem that's here in Kendallville. It's a Motel, convenient store, truck stop and liquor building w a IHop. The rooms are amazing, so comfy and actual room sets. It smells amazing not like cannibas lol. Love it here.

We really like that its literally an all stop shop, never knew about the Motel so, we checked it out and let me just say, for the price its put all other local motels, hotels to shame in a sense. Extremely clean, just an amazing room. Loved the shower, the bed, everything. Not what we expected, so worth the price. If you haven't yet, you really should check this place out. They definitely got my vote :)

Why get a hotel when you can stay at a castle.

Room is exactly as pictured. Room is very spacious with large bathroom. Shower is modern and fantastic.

Check in is unpleasant. Room was very clean, smelled like someone went crazy with strawberry air freshener. Bed was very comfortable. Keurig coffee and pods provided Bottled water in room. Even a few mini candy bars! All in all, a decent place to stay for a night.

It doesn’t look much from the outside but you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the rooms! Extremely clean and obviously well taken maintained. Staff member Vivek took very good care of our group and ensured we had a great stay!

We had a relaxing time. Surly a one stop shop place since your room is above a huge convenience store. If you need snacks, gifts ect it’s right there. We would stay again if in the area. A plus would be a huge area rug under the chairs because they move when you sit down. A brighter lamp by them for reading would be nice. All was good though.

The motel is on the second floor a large multi-purpose building with a 24/7 convenience store and liquor store on the first floor. There is no entry for the motel, you check in at the desk of convenience store. The building looks like a castle. The property has gas pumps and a truck stop. There is a closed IHOP also. There is a large elevator that takes you to the motel rooms. They require a 150 USD deposit. It was very clean and the room was huge. The floors are concrete, with throw rugs. It was a nicely appointed room. Plenty of hot water and room was a good temperature. It was very quiet, even with all these things going on outside and below the room. The bed was comfortable, staff was nice. If you want generic chain-hotel ambiance, this is probably not the place for you.

Surpassed my expectations

For the price, it was very nice, clean and more spacious than most high dollar hotels. The heat works great if you get cold and the bed was so comfortable, my partner and I always have the hardest time sleeping, but not during our stay here! The biggest plus is the convenience store below, they have all the essentials in case you forgot something on your trip. We’re definitely coming here again!

One of the cleanest rooms we have seen. Room and bath extremely spacious. Absolutely beautiful room
