The reception is in the Pub next door. You have to walk with all your belongings through pub full of people. The staff pay attention only to people in the pub. You will have to be very patient before you will get your room key.

The Admiral Rodney Hotel, Horncastle, Lincolnshire
Excellent food and superb staff. Only grumbles were the "double bed" was two singles pushed together with no mattress topper. Also no plug sockets next to the bed for charging phone / alarm.
