The room was clean. The air-conditioning was very outdated. The TV was flaky. I don't like staying at places that have outdoor doors. That isn't the motels fault. I should have looked closer.

Loved the stay until I didn't.

I thought it really unprofessional that the front desk could not give me a receipt. I stay a lot of places by booking with a third party site and have NEVER been told that before. Maybe there needs to be some training on how to be more tech saavy? Not sure why that was an issue.

Unique in Evanston

Cheerful and helpful staff in a nostalgic environment, reminds me of trips with My parents in the 1950s. My room was spacious but not particularly clean, lobby was charming with displays of taxidermy arts and fresh coffee. I love this place but might opt for a modern hotel next visit to Evanston.

Not happy with Best Western in Evanston WY

The bathroom door wouldn’t close and actually popped fully open. And they couldn’t fix it even though we checked in at 530. The a/c didn’t work - only blew recycled room air. The curtains let in way too much light from a bright light right outside our room. And the bathroom faucet was very old and hard to adjust.

Old and outdated

The bed was comfy but the room and property are old, dark and very outdated. The pictures on hotels.com posted do not accurately represent what you will be seeing upon arrival. We stayed expecting it to be good because of the brand of motel, and instead found that we should have saved a bunch of money and stayed at a lesser price motel and received the same level of quality. The front desk staff wasn’t even very friendly or helpful.
