Beautiful hotel. Clean room, comfortable bed, wonderful shower. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Visited for the Rammstein performances in Gelsenkirchen and this hotel was perfect to have a restful night after a long day.

Comfortable stay for Schalke Concert

Stayed in the hotel for a concert at Gilsenkirchen. The hotel’s own gated parking was very convenient, the room was quiet and very comfortable. In particular, staff on reception were very helpful and made our group feel very welcome. Would happily recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay within easy reach of Schalke stadium.

Great hotel- unsafe area

The hotel was the only nice thing about Essen. The area was extremely unsafe and didn’t feel comfortable walking around. Had homeless people approach us- and a Sunday night fight on the street that lead to about 10 police cars! Didn’t feel like Germany at all Felt more like an area for middle eastern immigrants. Hotel was really nice though :)
