"Great hotel"
We stayed 2 nights at the Junior Suite. Loved how it is gated and has 24hr front desk service. The hotel is close by a playita or small beach..I think of it as a private beach. Next time we're going to get the oceanview room. The room itself is big and spacious with a dining table for 4, a ceiling fan, couch, big restroom, and tv. There's even a little patio by the back door for us to relax. The room is a little bit run down though, but overall cozy and relaxing and at a great price!

"Lovely hotel"
This is a really lovely hotel. It's cheap to eat in and get drinks etc compared to the USA etc but it's more expensive than local places down the road in Ensenada itself. That said the food and cocktails are of a high quality. The marina is lovely as are the rooms. Having a fridge was a plus as it meant we could keep cold drinks in room. The rooms are massive with air con and blackout blinds. The only Thing I can fault which isn't a fault of the hotel was how quiet it was. Yes we went in off season but for the first two days we saw no one else at breakfast, nobody in the bar or pool. Only on the fourth day did someone else appear by the pool which was in some ways nice but in other ways a bit off putting to be in a hotel on your own essentially. Some people may enjoy that but maybe consider if booking In the off season.

"Nice older Hotel"
The staff was outstanding but the building and facilities are a little dated. I had a great stay but the window did not close properly, the parking lot was gabble and when the gardener water the palm trees, shower my car with dirt all over. The restaurant food and bar were great. We enjoyed the stay but a little expensive for the atiquated facilities.

"Great Rooms"
Love the location and the rooms at the Hotel Cortez. The only thing is the check in time is very late (3:00pm), and we had a wedding at 5:30pm, my wife needs a lot of time getting ready. We had to stop at a room that my sister was staying at so that my wife could get ready. We even called in advance to see if we could be granted a little more time. We ended up arriving at the Hotel at 4:30 to do a quick check in and head to the wedding in a hurry. The guy at the reception tells me that they needed 20 more minutes to have the room ready. I told him absolutely not, I had called asking for an early check in and needed to room ASAP. He was able to get me in the room very quickly, and all was OK, but just wanted to share this with you. Also, when we got back from the wedding, the parking lot was full, and we had to park outside, they need to expand the parking lot.

"Nice pool and jacuzzi"
We had a good time with my husband the only issue we had was the noisy construction next to the lobby when we check in. Even though the front desk agent apologized and stated that it will last 2 more hours. But she gave us the room right above the construction area.

"great experience"
Had a great experience for a Bachelorettes party, we got two double rooms, the staff was just amazing, location was also good, they don't have their own Parking like other hotels but you still can easily park on a feo of their spots since the hotel is not too big, it was good for the two nights we stay, totally coming back for a getaway weekend.

Ensenada is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Ensenada, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Ensenada hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
