The room, amenities, food and staff were great but the emergency alert alarm and flashing lights went off 3 times in the middle of the night. Usually around 330am and 430am. This was very disruptive to sleep and it happened the first night we arrived after a long travel day which was very frustrating. Otherwise was a great stay!

Everything was amazing at the property except 2 things. No one came with use to show us the room. They gave us the map and thats all. The fire alarm rang 3-4 time at night around 2am and 3am .

The hotel was beautiful. Food options were good. We tried the Mexican, steak restaurant, Liberia, and the Asian restaurant. Everything was very delicious. The only issue I had was with housekeeping. They did not changed our towels. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Only problem is trying to eat at the steakhouse and Asian restaurants they need a better system. Couldn’t eat because it was always full. In order to eat you need to make a long line and see if you can get in. They don’t have reservations. Besides that the hotel was great.

At the first when we checked in we came in to the room the tv was on and it had very bad reception. We placed a complaint every day while our stay and the problem was never fixed. At the second when we checked in at the reception desk we were told that the restaurants for dinner are first come first served, but it was absolutely not. Every restaurant made a waiting list for dinner which makes absolutely nonsense people line up at 5pm before restaurants open and make a waiting list. because it was full list for the night and you can’t get in any restaurant for dinner. If there is no reservation needed it shouldn’t be a waiting list nether. We were very upset about it. The third thing is there is no where to wash your hands and no sanitizers before you set at the table at any restaurant. Another thing was our room smell like sewerage at all times for some reason. When we make reservations for our trip the resort rated as 5 star in my opinion it doesn’t stay nowhere near 5 star.

A lot of things need to improve, starting with the way the hotel differentiates guests who booked directly with them and through third parties such as hotels.com. It doesn’t make much sense that they offer an airport shuttle for direct bookings only. Room was good but not great specially for the price paid. The fridge and the A/C were super noisy and the TV was garbage (watching TV in the room was like going through a Time Machine, the definition looked like from a 30 year old TV). The staff were want the best either, I was literally woken up at 0700 in the morning with a knocking in my door asking if I wanted the room cleaned. Also the cleaning personnel are super loud when preparing the day. They chat super loudly in the hotel corridors, we were woken up by them most of the days before 0700. Food is also another very negative point. It’s not good and I even got food poisoned the last day. I’ve even tried to contact the hotel lobby several times without success. The only positive I found from this stay was the hotel amenities. The beach is also nice but it’s not well kept by the hotel. I understand it’s public but it would be nice for the hotel to clean the trash created by their guests or pack up their sun beds. Also having a life guard on duty would be a nice touch. I’m not giving it a 1 star because the amenities and bars were actually good.
