Staff in sweatpants and sweatshirts. Pool closed, hot tub broke and treadmill broke . Elevator doesn’t look like it had been cleaned in 6 months, air freshener in the elevator was so strong you had to take the stairs. Room was filthy, urine and hairs all over the base of the toilet, old wash cloth still hanging on the very loose shower bar. Carpet in the room was stained in multiple spots. No Kleenex in the Kleenex box, which was barely holding in on the vanity. Free breakfast, day one was late being put out. The worker 1/2 way through putting it out decided it was time for a smoke break. Food was very limited, tasted badly. Extremely hard to come up with anything good about this stay. Hands down the most run down Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at.

Rude horrible night manager. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my hundreds of stays at hotels. Literally slept in my car after driving all night because he cancelled my room because he said I was a no show. I got there at 4:00 a.m and the latest you can check in is 6:30 a.m. That’s what it said on Expedia and on holiday inn express web site it said 6:00 a.m

The night manager was so rude. Treated me with so much disrespect as I got there at 4:00 A.M . told me he canceled my room. Because I got there so late. it said on Expedia app that I could get there up till 6:30 A.M. I traveled through 2 states to get there on Christmas Eve Morning to get treated with such rudeness and disrespect. He mocked my elderly mom and myself. I’ll never stay at another holiday and and other complaints through other acquaintances. I know that I talked to at the Christmas party im at right now about Holiday Inn devils lake North Dakota night manager.

The room that I had reserved was "unavailable" for some unknown reason and the hot tub was out of order. Neither of these notices were addressed online and I was not made aware of these issues until we checked in at the hotel. I feel that as a guest and as a customer, a little more communication about these issues prior to our arrival wouldve been suffice and a common courtesy.

Our room needed updated badly and smelled a little funky. It was on the main level 100. The carpet was stained, the bathroom had a lot of water damage and some spots of mold in the shower surround. The bathroom door was in bad shape and would not stay open on its own. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. No bag for dirty clothes. No function available on the HVAC system to have a continuous fan operation, which is nice to have to drowned out the noise of door, slamming, and people in the parking lot.
