Wonderful place with indoor pool and spa, and gorgeous outdoor pool complex, with a kiddie pool and play area; and outdoor seating and dining. The staff are outstanding, and will serve you a drink or a meal anywhere on the grounds. There are intimate dining cabanas, and a large outdoor shelter for events, and a bar at the pool as well.
I use the term "lost" in the title, because some taxi drivers are not familiar with the place. They know the road that it is on -- Velyka Kiltseva -- and they know the area -- Petropoplivska Borshogivka -- but they cannot pinpoint the location, and some GPS systems apparently don't have it. It does not help that the entrance to the resort complex is set back off the road, between two auto repair shops. If you tell the taxi that it is one-half km past the Tyca Hotel (pronounced "teesa"), that will get you close. A big sign atop the resort gets you the rest of the way.
All the beauty of the resort is at the back. There is also a small walking park that is part of the complex, and yes, the staff will serve you there as well, if you want to sit on the benches and have a drink under the shade trees.
There is never a problem getting a taxi into the center of Kiev, and the reception staff will summon one as quickly as you need it. The cost is always somewhere around 200 UAH -- less than $8.00 USD, for the 20-30 minute ride.
The breakfast buffet is good, but not extensive. The dining menu is the same. Excellent chef on site. Prices are good.

I stayed there for two nights and the first night the AC was out in the room I stayed in. So, not a pleasant night. The second night, I got a room with AC and was fine. The hotel has a nice view. Getting into the building can be tricky since it is inside the courtyard or a building that doesn't look like anything you would expect. There is a small sign on the outside for the hotel. Then you have to get into the room with elevator to get to the 10th floor.

What was advertised and what they have are 2 different things. They advertise on the site a Spa, Fitness Center and Restaurant. The restaurant is only open for breakfast. They say the Spa and Fitness center is broken. I did not see any place where they could even exist. When I asked about the laundry service first I was told it is 150 Grivna ($6.00) . When I brought them my normal size load they changed they doubled the price. When I questioned them they said 300 is the price no matter what size load. I told them the other said 150 and they ignored it. Overall it is a nice Hotel and clean.

My trip to Odessa was made extra extraordinary by my stay. The staff, the room, the restaurant were great. The bad part is I didn't want to leave and experience other aspects of the city. Such a problem!
