Treated like absolute royalty from check in to departure ! The palace setting is absolutely magnificient , as were the Palace rooms ! The hotel staff are eager to please and go out of their way to make your stay memorable ! We ate at the Indian restaurant which is superb , evening cocktails in the verandah or garden, added to the charm !
One cannot say enough about the Rambagh Palace , palatial and hospitable in every sense of the word , we so look forward to return !

A true credit to the Oberoi brand, this property provides all the amenities of a five-star hotel, however the experience feels somewhat like a seven-star given the personal touches, proximity to senior professionals in the hotel and passionate service driven staff. This property shows clear signs of excellent leadership from the General Manager which influences the motivated and exceptionally helpful staff to go beyond their remit. Whilst most hotels offer a welcome and departure which is memorable this hotel offers that extra something - consistency. The arrival, stay and departure provide a consistently exceptional experience. No request is too small or big, the comfort of its guests is the main priority of this property. The hotel complex is breathtaking. The natural wakeup call which is the sound of peacocks on the property grounds, the service promise to deliver food to your room within 30mins, the choice of pillows, entertainment and convenience are all a step ahead of any other hotel which I have stayed in. This property is synonymous with luxury, exceptional experience and memorable.

We stayed at the Oberoi Udaivilas, still seeing the Taj Lake Palace from our daily boat ride to the city was too tempting.
Finally for our last two nights in Udaipur we booked the Taj Lake Palace, and we didn't regret it.
The hotel breaths history and couldn't be more charming. We had a memorable stay, great staff, amazing room and the best attention to detail.
Mr Lokendra Rathore Duty Manager was outstanding, supervising our stay inch by inch, me and my wife couldnt be happier.

"Luxury, opulance and epitome of excellent service!"
I should've written this review earlier but I just wanted to sit down peacefully and write it so I don't forget anything.
For my husband and I this was by far the best hotel we've stayed in and one of the most amazing life experiences we've had.
The respect and the care given by each staff member of Udaivillas is exemplary.
Right in the beginning as we entered we were showered with welcome petals which took away our flight sickness. The manager Ankush was such a delight, he introduced himself and assured us that he is at our service in case we need anything at all. But the best part about this hotel stay was we didn't NEED to ask or request for anything. Ankush's team is so on point, they anticipate our need even before we know it.
Since we were celebrating our second anniversary he upgraded us to this fancy suites which honestly in reality would be never be able to afford. Those three days in that suite were probably the best way to kickstart 2017.
AJ was our server plus friend at the breakfast lounge. He left no stone unturned. He saw we throughly enjoyed the kachoris in the breakfast buffet so he had the chef make us special kachoris which were to die for. Just while typing this review, my mouth is watering. He always knew what we needed on the table, we didn't even need to ask or request. Once, during the end of the buffet (of course we woke up late) I went to pick a puri to eat and AJ told me don't worry, I'll have the chef make you a fresh hot puri. I mean that's i

The hotel itself is even more beautiful than expected and staff here are incredible. They helped us navigate a monetary crisis in the country as well as provided a great overall experience. The only negative: the beds were two single beds pushed together. Aside from this, the entertainment and food were good (try the Rajasthani Thali restaurant). I would highly recommend.

Wonderful service, friendly staff. Great breakfasts wth pancakes and omelettes. They were willing to give us a late checkout to help us with our train schedule. Helped us find out our railroad seat and coach assignments. Gave us advice on sightseeing. A perfect place to stay in jodhpur

Rooms are luxurious and very nice and clean. Room service and staff are very attentive and kind, ready to satisfy every customer's need. Quality to price ratio is more than excellent and wifi is fast and free. The resort isn't so close to the old city but cabs will get you there for less than 200rps. Simply very good!
