Me and my girlfriend had a great time at this beach resort hotel. The room's ocean view was nice. The beach had a path leading out to the ocean for a good walk and some good photo shots. I saw people complain about having to pay for renting the sunbeds and umbrellas but once you know this you can budget for yourself to see if you are getting value for money - we brought our own tent so that we didn't have to rent the sunbeds.
The hotel helped me arrange a birthday surprise for my girlfriend with flowers and cake in advance and it was appreciated that I could ask them to make the delivery to our room at any time that I wanted - in the end they sent 2 members of staff to make the delivery too!
The construction for new buildings wasn't finished yet but didn't bother us that there was no swimming pool - why would you use the swimming pool when you have such a nice beach?
There aren't a lot of restaurants nearby but just enough for staying here for a few days.
The only thing I didn't like was that the hotel had a strange rule about snorkeling - no snorkeling with a snorkel allowed unless you wear a life jacket but you don't have to wear a life jacket if you don't use the snorkel......ruined our opportunity to snorkel in the clear water.

Beautiful and great location.
We went there for our wedding anniversary and it turned out to be the perfect place to stay.
Great staffs and good food.
Communication wasn't great but I guess that's how it is to travel in Japan.

Overall this is excellent facility, located in the best part of such small southern island.
Cozy and clean room, staff is very caring and attentive, and variety of facilities make our family trip unforgetable one.
Only my complaint is their scarce choice of, and expensive restaurant.
Most of foods are served as buffet style or course dishes (except for lunch). Since this Southern islands area are very famous for unique food and drinking cultures, we expected to have wider choice of foods and eating styles.
We only had one dinner at the hotel in my 5 nights stay. For other time (including lunch), we went out and mingled with local/tourist people in the small local bar/bistros, enjoying their local foods and drinks. That was very fun AND cost saving!
Other than that, we pretty much enjoyed the stay in this hotel. Highly recommended!

My friend and I stayed in a private room with two twin beds. There's plenty of storage room and srawers to organize your things in the rooms and in the common areas so you don't have to take your amenities back and forth from the showers, vanity, and kitchen areas. This two story has a common area downtstairs and one on the second floor outside. There a kitchen downstairs and on the second floor. Everything is provided. Take your own towel unless you don't mind paying a small price to rent one. Laundry is free(soap for under ¥100). The manager, Hiro, is ichiban!!! Very helpful with info and considerate.

This is fourth time I've stayed at this hotel and it never fails to impress me. The staff are very friendly and courteous, the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the ocean views are spectacular. I recommend it without reservation.

"A beautiful hotel right on the beach and big rooms"
The hotel is located on the south of Miyakojima and about 15min away from the airport. There are several restaurants around the hotel but no supermarkets or other bigger shops. Just a 10min drive will bring you to those.
We traveled as a family with three children (10, 8, 4) and stayed in the main building (run of house). We used two rooms, since we were five of us. The room was big, with two single beds (100cm), a nice entrance with enough space in the bathroom. A balcony with a fantastic view. You can have a perfect Japanese breakfast but also stick to a more continental breakfast, if you prefer. The pool is not so big, but with such a beautiful ocean, we didn't expected more.
Friendly staff everywhere and a perfect service!
