The room was nice and an average size for Japan. The private balcony was nice and the view was spectacular. The service at check-in was quite good as was the service in the bar. However, the food at both breakfast and dinner was lacking. The selection was so-so, all of it was cold, the salad was torn into pieces so big that you couldn't eat it, the serving line was not particularly clean or well stocked. But it was over-priced and then they hit you with a 12% service fee, as well. I may stay there again but I won't eat there again.

The hotel is ideally located to use as a base for airport, ferry terminal, town center. It is not somewhere to stay to just relax all day at the hotel, but if you want a well located base with good connections to do different things each day as I did, this hotel is ideal. The staff are very helpful indeed with providing information and making reservations for you. This was much appreciated as it made easy work of travelling around the various nearby islands and getting to eat in the best/most interesting resturants. This would have been much more difficult unless you speak Japanese, but the help provided by the hotel made achieving all this effortless.
