The hotel location is very good, security is excellent, staff were outstanding with the exception of the beauty salon vendor...terrible person and dilapidated facility!! Breakfast and dinning: food is fairly good, staff were wonderful but the place has dirty, old, stained and unhealthy furniture items.
Reception staff were great. WiFi was available but access code were changed on daily basis!!!

The hotel is quite large offering lots of choices to eat, relax by one of the many pools or just lay at the beach.
I travel quite extensively but I have to say that this hotel had the most genuinely friendly and welcoming staff throughout the entire hotel. It was not overbearing, everyone was quite helpful and offered a warm greeting at all times.
Everyone from the front desk, the concierge, the butlers, hospitality team and the management were all amazing!
The room was clean although it was a bit too dark for my liking, not enough natural light but other than that the accommodations were great.
As the grounds are quite extensive, if you do not have a room close to the Obelisk building, you will need to walk quite a bit. I like to walk but it could be a bit much if you do not enjoy walking. They also offer shuttle service throughout the hotel and they are very efficient and timely.
This hotel was recommended by friends and I am pleased that they did as this hotel definitely deserves it's reputation as being one of, if not the best hotel in Jordan.
Again, if you need any assistance with anything the Concierge (s) at the hotel are A+!

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Breakfast and dinner buffet style were excellent..... so much variety and prepared well. Tried 3 different Jordanian wines each night. These were not up to European standards, I would avoid. Good to try though. My room, next to the Dead Sea was comfortable and quiet. Good shower. There was also a bath, but didn't use for water conservation reasons. Bed was cofy and I slept very well. Floating in the Dead Sea in the hotel's own private section was otherworldly and very safe and secure. When I got salt in my eyes the lifeguard on duty was on hand helping me out of the water and guiding me to fresh water so I could wash out the salt. Lovely outside pools within the grounds of the hotel, but didn't try these as much as came to enjoy the sea.

The hotel is right on the sea with it's private beach which wasn't too busy at all. The staff were helpful and the food was good - although I wouldn't advise eating outside for breakfast buffet as flies are an issue in the area. The room itself was good and standard holiday inn. The hotel was easily accessed from the main road and had free valet.

You can't go wrong with this hotel. It is a great mix of being on the beach in relaxing secluded location, while at the same time, close enough to walk to the city for dinner. It's really good for everyone. You get your own private beach, excellent pool, good location, and the company they work with for water adventures (Sindibad) is great quality for scuba, jet ski, ect. The drinks at the pool bar are a bit overpriced, but again, you really can't go wrong overall with this hotel. Good spa/massage service. Front desk was helpful. They even sent me a cake to my room on my birthday.
