We were disappointed with our experience. The staff was unwilling to work with us even though we reached out several days before our stay. The entire establishment smelled strongly of cigarettes and marijuana. For safety, the back door was supposed to be secured, but it did not lock properly. Additionally, the hotel is located right off the highway, which made it noisy. We would not stay here again.
It was a quiet room. The staff was friendly. The sheets were very wrinkled. The bathroom has a pocket door which was hard to close. We stayed for two nights three days.
Smelled like an ashtray the 3 days we stayed. Remote for TV didn’t work tried calling front desk from phone not connected. Just fast busy tried them all. Walked down to get batteries I was given another remote. The walk is a block away from front desk. Back door didn’t need room key to get in. Hole in bathroom sink. We came back from Drake relays to find brown dirty rag by TV. Looked like poop on it. No privacy/ clean room sign. I never have my room cleaned when I stay anywhere. Well they picked it up but left the poopy colored hand towel. Idk where is came from!
Upon entering the room we found half of the curtains hanging down. I placed something on the entertainment center and the whole thing wobbled. The door to the bathroom had paint chipping on the floor. The shampoo and conditioner bottle were used. Later that night the people in the next room started fighting and we could hear the whole conversation, this went on until after 3AM. We contacted the front desk and it was quiet for 10 minutes and startedup again. We had to pay a deposit for our dog and part of the form said we needed to keep the dog quiet which we did. These people should have had to pay a deposit for their behavior.

The only complaint I have is that they need to have both maintenance and housekeeping be more attentive. when I initially went to my room after checking in the door wasn't fully closed because it needed a push to fit in the frame.
The service is great and very friendly atmosphere. Great food places near by.

Missing hairdryer
My room did not have a hair dryer when I checked in (11:45 pm) I went to the front desk and they said they would bring one to my room the next morning. By roughly 9 the next morning I still didn’t have one. I asked housekeeping and they told me to call the front desk, I did and several minutes later I was brought one. I plugged it in and turned it on and the inside of the hairdryer literally was on fire blowing white smoke. I immediately unplugged it and left it set as I had to leave for the day. When I returned I took the faulty hairdryer to the front desk and told him what had happened and that could I please get another one, but I needed it early 7:30-8. By 830. I still did not have a hairdryer. I went down and ate breakfast and then stopped at the desk and asked them for a hairdryer, by 10 o’clock I still did not have one and I had to leave for the day. I don’t carry my own because it takes so much space up and one is always furnished. I always have had good service at this hotel and was extremely disappointed and on a sidenote, I did not request it, but I had a handicap room on the main floor by the side entrance, perhaps signs posted would discourage youngsters from running up and down the stairs at a time people would be sleeping.
Honestly it was very dirty, there was an ant on my bed. Not only that it was not clean at all! The carpet, looked disgusting. The bathroom as well just was not cleaned well. I’m not usually a person who complains, but we heard a mouse in the walls. The one good thing about the place was staff, they were super kind! But in all the place was not great
