"Nice hotel, close to NCU. "
For an older motel, clean and Kristie at the front desk is AMAZING! The middle of the night woman could use a little better attitude, but Kristie's made up for it. Our kids loved the pool and swam a lot! Close to NCU and U of O if that's important. Quick drive to anything you may need.

"Exceeded Expectations"
We were very happy with the Valley River Inn. The lobby and dining room were beautiful. Any complaints in the reviews about the cost of the restaurant seem a bit unwarranted and discount the fact that it is a very nice restaurant that overlooks the river. The pool area was great and the kids loved it. I would suggest they buy a few more umbrellas for shade out there. We found our room to be clean and comfortable. The A/C worked well and the deck overlooking the pool was very nice.

"Conveniently located hotel at a good price"
Our room was a two-bedroom suite, which was nice. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom had been updated recently. The bathroom fan didn't work, and the shower drain was slow, but it was nice otherwise. Carpets, furnishings, etc. were all somewhat old and a bit worse for wear. Our room was the closest to the street (Broadway), which is a busy road, so there was a lot of traffic noise. The included breakfast was sparse -- muffins, juice, bananas, and yoghurt. The location was great, right in the middle of Eugene, close to the University and everywhere we wanted to go. There was an outdoor pool, which looked clean and nice, but which we didn't use. The price was good for a two-bedroom room.

"It was good and peaceful! "
Everything was great about the hotel except that they did not have a bin for basic recycling of plastic bottles. I feel they should get on board with recycling.

"Great place!"
I came in late and the staff had thought of everything to help me get settled. Breakfast - as always - was sooo delicious. Room I had would have been too tight for two, but was fine for me.

"Great hotel for a quick 1-night trip"
Stayed at the hotel for the Eugene Marathon. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Our room was very spacious and had a balcony. The staff was nice enough to accommodate the marathon participants, even providing "to go" breakfast packs at the front desk at a very early hour (I think we picked ours up at 4:30 am). They also offered late checkout for those that needed it. I would definitely stay here again.

"Red Lion"
We arrived about 5pm to check in, the check in person said that all the computers were down ad to leave and come back later. Which would have been fine, however I had a very early morning train to catch and wished I could have gotten in the room earlier. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Check out staff was really helpful and nice. The parking situation was a difficult as the lot was so small it was hard to back out of my space after a vehicle had parked behind in me in a space. If you had a truck you would have been blocked in.

"Very nice "
Very nice rooms, however there is no service for daily room upkeep. If you run out of towels soap and other items you must go get them replaced at the front desk. Rooms come with one bar of soap and one small shampoo. Not allot of amenities. Very clean and large refrigerator. Nice stove top as well. Cannot shut curtains to block daylight if you want to sleep in. Their designed to not be closed?

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Creswell hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
