Was just okay. The Expedia site was not accurate to the actual site. It states that pets are welcome. Not that there is an extra charge for pets. Also now they are renting weekly and monthly. Not a good thing for your average traveling family.

This old Best Western is being remodeled and has great potential being located on Main Street. The management needs to do a better job of training their staff. For example, the front desk worker should be able to answer the question about weekly and monthly rates that are advertised on the [under repairs] marquee. No pool yet. Comfortable beds, linens and good TV.

We first checked in , and went to our room, and it smelled like Human sweat and body oil, like very bad, couldn't take it, I made a complaint to the owner, and asked for Refund, then they said no refund, so they put my family and I into another room, but there was sewing back up in the tub, and the smoke alarm chirp for battery change kept chirping, we were so horrified about the sewing back up. I wouldn't stay here ,ever again.

When we made the reservation, we were excited to see there was a swimming pool and hot tub on site. When we arrived, we were told that neither were available and it sounded like they had been out of commission for quite some time. The building is very old and is showing its age. There was a 1/2” gap around most of the door to our room. Breakfast is advertised as a “buffet breakfast” when in fact it was a very basic continental breakfast that didn’t even have the typical fruit or yogurt, and no protein options. The concrete on the stars was chipped up, and much of the trim outside was dilapidated. The room itself was clean enough and very basic. It would be helpful if they would update some of the amenity details on the website as it’s currently misleading.

The hotel is conveniently located at the main road which was straight to the Mesa Verde's main gate. From there, everything was down hill: The swimming pool was closed for a while and rundown, The yard between the buildings was dirty and not maintained, broken equipment was sitting there. The coffee machine in our room was broken. When we came back from the tour at around 5:30 pm, the room was not cleaned, and the coffee machine was still not repaired/changed. (I had informed the front desk in the morning.) When I asked the front desk to clean the room, she just complaint that the cleaning crew only cleaned 20 rooms then left. However, she was willing to upgrade us to a suite, which was a nice move. That's why I gave it a 3-star, instead a 1-star review. The breakfast was most basic: There was no real juice, only the artificial fruit drinks. the hot water was locked in a room which we had to go to the front desk to ask the clerk to open the door and get it for us. The hotel was not worth the money we paid. I definitely will not return to that hotel in the future.

Internet advertised a pool. Not so. Empty and in need of repair. No smoke alarm in the room, 108. Booked and paid for two nights. On the second day staff came to our door about 1:30 PM saying we should be checked out. I said we had paid for two nights. Was told their records said otherwise. Tone was brusk. Upon checking, they saw that they were in error.

Nice to get a ground floor room you can drive up to. Thought their Continental breakfast went above and beyond! Cereal and Danish, bagels and muffins of course, but also waffles, juices, different fruit, also great coffee!

Property need revamped, cracked stirs, no pool access, gaps in the door seal letting lots of air from outside in, AC was loud and didn’t work well, no fire or o2 detector, internet was patchy. It was as clean as it could be based off the property condition. Staff was friendly.

The room was clean, but the stairs are falling apart, the walk way to the room has ripped carpet and the wood under is not in great condition. The pool was closed, the parking lot is full of potholes. Breakfast was nothing more than cereal and coffee even though it is listed that there would be waffles sausage eggs and bacon. They are no longer best Western but have the company logo on everything in the room
