"A great fun hotel! Very unusual industrial decor."
We enjoyed our stay in this unique hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly, bed was great, with an excellent mattress. The location was 10 out of 10! We would definitely go back. The decor is industrial chic, really well done, and honours the site of the original factory. It was fun to share a space with students. The only suggestion we have is to put some crockery and cutlery in the room, for fruit, coffee, etc. drinking coffee out of a glass is not good. And maybe a microwave oven? Overall, 98/100 Thank you for a great stay! And hopefully we'll be back!

"Five star location, 3.5 star hotel"
The location couldn't be better for exploring central Maastrich. An easy walk to the train station. Had to wait 5 minutes for staff to show up at modest reception desk. Room was adequate and clean. Little things like no outlet for a hairdryer any where in proximity to a mirror.

"Good location and close to train station"
The room was clean but there was no fridge which was really surprising and annoying as we couldn't have cold water and we stayed to attend the Belgium F1 and wanted to buy food to take to the race but we couldn't as there was not a fridge to keep it in. The tap in the bathroom sink was too small and each time you turned it on water sprayed everywhere and if you put it on hot the water nearly burnt you and it was difficult to wash your hands because the tap was too short. Also the breakfast was VERY overpriced for what is was. The location was good and close to the station.

"Friendly Youth Hostel close to central Maastricht"
Very friendly and helpful staff who were welcoming. This is a youth hostel and the rooms etc are in keeping with this. Breakfast was basic but absolutely fine and plenty of it. We had a great stay and would stay again.

"Historic hotel with character"
The check in staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel supplied a hair dryer but not an iron and ironing board. The restaurant staff were competent but not particularly friendly. It was probably due to my very limited French and their limited English.

"Nice Hotel Next to Maastricht Centraal"
We stayed there 3 nights in September, 2017. We found the hotel to be well kept and the staff to be quite friendly and helpful. It would be good if there were more tourist information available (better map, bus routes) but then, as a whole Maastricht is not too touristy (yet). We had some trouble with the AC controls; the key turned out to be to set the fan to bring in outside air than recirculating room air. The hotel's restaurant offers a relatively small selection of dishes, but all three we tried were excellent and reasonably priced.

"Chic, spacious and central."
This is a fantastic place to stay right in the centre of Maastricht. It is right on the Vrijthof which means that you can eat and drink a stone's throw from your room. Although the hotel has no restaurant itself, the proximity to so many restaurants makes it a more exciting choice. We noticed that almost every restaurant on the Vrijthof serves a very good breakfast too! Although it was so spacious, we had no problems with noise. The room was enormous compared to the postage stamp-sized room you are usually offered. The decor was chic and minimal. The bathroom was spacious and the full-sized toiletries available were so much better than the tiny bottles one is usually offered. We had a full-sized and fully equipped (Miele) kitchen in our living area which also offered a Nespresso machine plus kettle. Needless to mention, it is spotlessly clean. The staff are warm and hospitable. In short it is the best place I have stayed in Maastricht and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Borgloon is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Borgloon, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Borgloon hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
