The property is beautifully landscaped with coastal plants and trees. The rooms are clean and well kept up with nice views of the harbor. The staff and amenities were also very nice.

I booked the last room available for our last minute, weekend get-a-way for my wife and I. Our room had a view of the Bay, was spacious and the furniture, fixtures, amenities and overall decor were perfect. Literally, The Inn at the Tides couldn't have done anything better start to finish. Excellence all the way around! Congrats.

Stayed in room 1006 which is at the top of the hill. Has one queen bed and a pull out sofa bed, one small table and 2 nice sitting chairs. Parking is slightly challenging even on a “good” day. Views cannot be beat. Room windows open to the pool and an amazing view of the bay. Though if you are sensitive to noise, perhaps the pool view isn’t the best. No air conditioning in any of the room, but the windows open for a lovely breeze. The rooms were very clean, ice on site, a complementary bottle of wine, and great staff rounded out a great experience. Skip the “continental” breakfast unless you like bread.

Our stay started on a great note. The gentleman who checked us in Friday evening was excellent — kind, professional, and welcoming. He provided a list of local restaurant recommendations and an activity guide, which made us feel well taken care of and excited for our visit. Unfortunately, our experience with dining on-site at The Tides Wharf & Restaurant was disappointing. Service was slow and the food was underwhelming for the price. There are many great dining options in the area, and based on our experience, we would recommend exploring other restaurants instead. For those looking for alternatives, we had a great to-go lunch from Rocker Oysterfeller’s Kitchen + Saloon at the Wharf. The food was good and worth the price, though parking in the area can be a bit challenging. The best meal of our trip was at Drakes Sonoma Coast. It is on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it — great service, great atmosphere, and excellent food. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time. Another highlight was the fish market located across the street. The gentleman who helped us (Mark) was very professional and kind. People partying all hours of the night. Spoke to the general manager..how unprofessional..he never offered us a free night never offered a discounted price. The only thing he said was he would talk to them about the noise. Never stay at this place if you want to enjoy your vacation with quiet nights. You will never get any rest.
