The property is very big! I like the layout of the old hotel, It has beautiful character. The rooms are very big and clean. AC worked well, shower was working very well. The pools were warm and clean. However, the person working in the pool area is hard to get for towels or beverages. They really need 2 people at all times. The beds are just ok for comfort and sadly the pillows are absolutely horrible. My husband, daughter and I woke up complaining of the smell and hard pillows. Our necks were sore. Other than that, we have no complaints. Change the pillows to be more user friendly on the body and this would be a five star rating.

A grand property with great history in Veracruz. The property is in great need of renovations as there are some sections of the hotel and rooms that are worn down. Bed sheets, linens are rather worn as well. Courteous staff. Hopefully, the hotel can be restored to its former glory.

Most of the staff was very friendly. It is a beautiful looking hotel, but it is older and needs a little bit of work. There are also a ton of stairs. Everywhere. The outdoor pool is huge, great for swimming laps. They’re actually two indoor and two outdoor pools. It is walkable to a large modern mall.

Absolute have to avoid if you have any kind of mobility limitation, olders adults and childrens. Property have zillions stairs to move any place throughout the building. The only one floor elevator from the entrance to lobby DO NO HAVE INTERIOR DOORS!! AND EXTERIOR DOORS CAN BE OPEN ANY TIME THE ELEVATOR IS NOT IN THE FLOOR!! NOTE: Otherwise the property is a historic unique place whit lovely architecture design.

I believe this hotel had his glorious days back in the 50’s , far from today conditions, even that the administration is remodeling room by room , it’s still far from modern days, WIFI sucks, the mattress are solid rocks…. Other than that I would recommend to stay in another hotel if you really want comfort, I found really rude to charge in advance when you do check in……. In this case you will pay what you get….. I definitely don’t recommend it.

La atención es magnífica por parte de todo el personal, la señora que limpiaba las habitaciones del 701 en adelante es muy atenta y amable, los servicios del hotel son los que deben actualizarse, si bien la alberca al aire libre es grande, el agua está turbia y llena de bichos que permanecieron más de dos días, la comida del restaurante no es la mejor, las porciones son pequeñas, les falta sazón y el precio es el esperado para un hotel en esa zona, las habitaciones son grandes pero las almohadas y colchones necesitan renovarse, el servicio de limpieza es eficiente, los baños son amplios, es un gran lugar pero le falta mucha inversión para retomar la elegancia de antaño, si lo que quieren es un lugar para dormir sin grandes lujos, es un buen lugar, todos los que laboran ahí son amables, desde el que cuida el estacionamiento trasero hasta los que hacen de coordinadores o gerentes, el temazcal funciona bien, las albercas techadas también aunque igual que la exterior, el agua se ve turbia, los espacios para estar al aire libre y descansar son variados, bajo techo o árboles, el acceso a la playa es cercano y de fácil traslado, recomendado si les gusta la historia, está cerca de plaza Américas y el WTC, 5 minutos a pie. Si lo que quieren es lujo, elevadores o pantallas gigantes en las habitaciones, este no es el lugar, aunque el wifi funciona excelente con gran velocidad. En general un gran lugar que el tiempo va deteriorando más rápido de lo que van resanando.
