"A decent hotel in Blida"
The hotel is clean. The furniture is not of high quality and not very comfortable. The dining is extremely limited as hours are very limited and menu selections are very few. The parking is not clean and there is no elevator access to it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you have to stay in Blida, it is best to stay in this hotel.

"Full of atmosphere, a unique place"
I notice that many of the reviews of this hotel are poor. I have to say that they don't reflect my own experience. We spent three nights here, and had a lovely stay. It's true that this is not the slick, off-the-peg experience of an international business hotel, but who needs another one of those? If you'd prefer to stay in a renovated Ottoman palace with beautiful architecture, friendly staff and a lovely garden, this is the top place in Algiers. I stayed here over 20 years ago, and the place is exactly as I remembered it, which is mainly a very good thing. Some updating is required - there is room for improvement when it comes to the bathrooms, for instance, though ours worked fine - but overall this is a characterful, and very lovely place. There was a pop-up Greek restaurant on the terrace during our stay, which was a good addition to the hotel, and we had some lovely cakes one afternoon. Reviews had led me to believe that the breakfast was appalling. It wasn't as good as it could have been but it wasn't bad either. There is a real sense of history here - the bar is lined with photos of luminaries from Edith Piaf to Albert Camus who have stayed in the hotel in its heyday, and something of that glamour is still discernible today. Do stay - you won't regret it!

"An IMPOSING HOTEL"
This hotel is Physically imposing. I was amazed at the design and implementation of the structure and facilities. It was hard for me to understand its shear size. GOOD points : VERY VERY CLEAN WELL SPECIFIED ROOMS ARE VERY GOOD BAD POINTS: Staff are polite but have no concept of service, most are OLD men and that means a rather slow and unimportant service level. (Maybe house keeping should be put in charge of front of house.) The food in the Buffet and the Italian was EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE and of such poor quality it was almost inedible. Buffet for two 8000 Dz I would not have paid 500 ea. Indeed I have paid much less and received the highest quality food in restaurants. Do not get me wrong this hotel is a 'GEM' just do not use the eateries. Get in a taxi go to the most expensive Algerian restaurants and still return back with change to spare. Would I stay there again?? if the company pays yes! On a personal budget the service and food any ACCOR group is far better and more cost effective. Paul.

"Think twice if you are a light sleeper"
Although the hotel was good value for money, the staff friendly and courteous. The noise in this hotel was cause for several sleepless nights. Local roosters start around 3am and you can hear everything from your surrounding neighbors. From doors closing to private phone calls. It's like the walls are made of paper, no noise isolation at all. I did find the rooms clean and the towels were the softest I've used at a hotel in a long time. If you just need a place to store your bags and a place to rest your head this might work for you, I'd just highly recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Blida is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Blida, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Blida hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
