Typical above average hotel located next to a freeway. Dynamic pricing seems to be the m.o. Do note that the provided breakfast is grab-and-go and not a buffet-style affair. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Pool looked great--need to look for a review of an actual user for better detail. Location is closed to stores and restaurants and is almost a short, straight shot into downtown. Guests seem to include tour groups and mass transit employees who need an overnight stay

The rooms in the freeway side are way too close to the freeway. When we checked out on the way to Bakersfield I asked for a room on the other side of the facility, they told me that it was all taken care of on my return trip. When I checked in tonight they put me in the same room? Told me that there was no other rooms available. Never staying there again.

It was a nice hotel but a little bit dated. We stayed in the suite with a pool view and it was worth the upgrade. Staff was nice, easy check-in, basic continental breakfsst. The pool/spa area was really nice. The cabanas are a nice touch. I would stay here again.
