Great time staying at the Inn at Avila. Staff is friendly , easy check in and out. The rooftop is a great place to chill and play board games or sip coffee! The morning coffee & baked pastries were perfect. The rooms need some updating , beds especially but it’s a cute spot with the beach footsteps away!

Property is in walking distance from the beach it’s an adorable little town. Definitely a come back to this place. This was our second stay in the Avila experience and we would not ever change it. Our memories made here have been amazing.

This hotel is in an amazing location with the sound of ocean waves to relax you and the beauty of the e ocean to gaze at. The interior needs some repair and update to enhance the awesome experience.

Was not worth the money. We had beds that were so high we needed a stool to get in bed. They have danish and coffee on the roof which is 4 flights up. I elevators. The whole experience was very disappointing.

We were put in a room on the 2nd fl with no elevator and the 2 beds were almost 4ft off the ground with not even a step stool. The overall condition of the Inn was in need of serious remodeling. No phone, no bell service. We are in our 80's and had to carry our luggage to our room with NO offer of help! Could not wait to leave. NEVER AGAIN

This was my first stay but definitely not my last stay the front desk Ladies are very personable and nice the complementary peach cobbler and ice cream was a fantastic touch and don’t forget the complementary breakfast in the morning. The croissants were perfect. Along with the amazing view I absolutely love this place. It is definitely one of my favorites now!!

Upon check in, no rooms were available and either was parking- also very tight spaces. After waiting half hour we were given a room that was second rate at best. A mouse kept me up all night scratching at the wall in the room. Didn’t get any sleep as I’m a light sleeper. Informed front desk at 6 in the morning and just got an apology, no refund or change of room. Had to go sleep on the beach until checkout so I could feel rested for the drive home. Having amenities to use was nice, however the bikes were pretty rusty and couldn’t adjust the seats. Don’t recommend this hotel for the price I paid. Save your money.

Easy walking to restaurants & shopping, next to beach, available beach equipment, the 4th floor free breakfast, coffee shop coffee and fab view. Make sure to ask about bed style; we had very tall captain's bed (too tall.) No elevator or coffee in room.

Great location, Very nice staff. As mentioned on their website, there is no elevator, so be ready to climb stairs. the ocean view rooms have a daybed on the balcony. Laid out there till 1:30 in the morning listening to the waves, staring up at the stars and listening to Jimmy Buffett. This is an old hotel with rustic charm. Very tight parking spaces beneath the hotel.
