"Pleasant Surprise"
We were on the road and needed to find a place to stop for the night. A quick look for an inexpensive place to stay resulted in finding this little gem. It's a little off the beaten path and you'll think you're lost just before you find this place but it's clean, well maintained, safe location, and the staff is friendly...if a little young. We had a nice room and the complimentary breakfast was well stocked and maintained. Hot coffee was available every time I visited the lobby. The only suggestion I would make for the breakfast, is to add some more sturdy plastic utensils...it's hard to cut my waffle with the current ones.

"Only stayed here because of price"
All of the hotels in Auburn, Alabama (and Opelika) inflate prices for football game weekends. I paid over $170 per night for 2 nights so my family could stay in Auburn before and after the game. It was one of the hotels that still had rooms available and believe or not, the price was decent for a game weekend. The front desk staff seemed bored and not overly friendly but check in went smoothly. The room was decent/adequate since we did not spend much time in the room anyway. There was a mini fridge which was helpful (for tailgating supplies). We did not eat breakfast here even though it was included (the usual hotel breakfast fare). So in conclusion, normally I would not stay here, but I made an exception for game day just so we could stay in Auburn and not have to drive to Montgomery where the hotel rooms are MUCH cheaper. Of note, most hotels in Auburn also have a 2 night minimum for game weekends. Can't remember if this hotel had that requirement or not...didn't matter because we were going to stay for 2 nights anyway. It was clean, quiet, safe, and relatively comfortable, so it fulfilled it's purpose. If you are coming to an Auburn game, and are on a budget, this hotel would be a reasonable choice.

"Everything very nice accept:"
My only problem was the shape of the bottom of the tub while showering. I am 5'5" 130 lbs, my son is 6'2" 225 lbs. and we both had the same complaint. The tub dips in toward the center which was very dangerous while standing to shower as well as getting in and out of the tub. Have management try it while in their bare feet and they will understand what we mean. I've never run into this before and I've stayed in many hotels. We were in room 205 so maybe it is the only room with just that type of tub but I doubt it. Other than that, our experience was very good. Thank you.

Auburn is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Auburn, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Auburn hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
