Horrible stay
On March 25,2013 My family and I checked in after a 6 hour long drive. once we got into the room there was a strong smell of Cigar/cigaretts! I immediately went to the front desk and told them that our room smells like cigar/cigaretts, I wanted to change our room to a room that doesnt smell like strong cigar/cigaretts, the guy at the front desk said, I'm sorry you booked smoking online and we can't change it. Why would I book smoking if I have kids? He said he couldn't help us out! I was furious! My eyes was stinging all night, my kids couldnt sleep cause of the strong smell of cigar/cigaretts, opened the window and that didn't help at all. The wooden floor in the kitchen area was sticky! I don't know why the front desk couldn't help our out? He apparently doesnt care, this is the worst hotel I ever stayed in ever in my whole life.

More of a short term Apartment.
If you need a little Apartment at Hotel price. This is your place. Nice little kitchen in every room and pretty nice rooms. But for the Business traveler that just needs a short term Hotel room. This Hotel is just a little but noisey. With LOTS of people staying/coming and going. Very busy for it's size. I presume because there are many families and friends staying and "visiting" each room. I stayed there on about a half a dozen occasions. And was usually met with the Front desk clerk on personal telephone calls away from front. Where you have to "call out" to them. As little as ONE towel and ONE bar of soap in my room. Breakfast is a muffin or granola bar with Coffee thats gone within about 30 minutes of being put out. Great location though for Burbank/LA area.

Friendly Staff, Great Location
I stayed two nights at ESA Burbank Airport. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was the best priced hotel in the area and was much nicer than many other places in the same price range. The location is excellent. There is a shopping plaza, with plenty of restaurants, including Olive Garden and Outback Steakhouse - as well as Target, Marshall's, Costco, Staples and many other major stores - just steps away from the hotel's main entrance. The hotel, it self is very nice, featuring spacious accommodations which include a kitchen complete with a microwave, range top, full size refrigerator - even pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The room was clean and they offer free wi-fi and basic cable plus Showtime. One of the reasons I chose to stay here was that they are pet friendly. The charge is normally $25 per day per pet (in addition to the cost of the room) but they only charged me for one pet, which I thought was nice. The staff is very friendly and courteous and David was particularly helpful. The only reason I did not give ESA Burbank four stars is because they do not have a pool or fitness room - but other than that - I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Southern California.

Talk about UNDERRATED!!!
I stayed here for 10 days and wasn't expecting much....I was wrong! I found the staff much more eager and willing to fulfill any requests you might have, but most of all they also knew when to leave you alone. It was quiet, clean and right next to a wicked shopping plaza. Best Buy, Lowes, Staples, Olive Garden and many other places to have dinner. OH YAA....30 second walk to KRISPY KREME for hot morning sugar injections!!! In 2 words....."This place has got great vibes."CheersAlex

Very good value
After a fire in our apartment building we moved into this hotel for one month. The reception staff, namely Jin, Jan, Bill and Diane were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable but the kitchen could be better equipped. The location was amazing, close to shopping and plenty of good restaurants. My only complaint was the shortage of towels, we had to sometimes wait until late evening to get fresh towels. The beds were comfortable and the room was certainly spacious. We are going on a short vacation to South Africa and look forward to returning to this hotel in two weeks time and will be here until such time as our apartment is ready.
