Location perfection
Stayed in this hotel for a conference but also took my family. Absolutely wonderful location, walking distance to Stanley Park and the city. Had a nice room overlooking the pool and Stanley Park. Bed was comfortable and nice bathroom with shower over bath. Hotel has friendly staff and has a Starbucks in the lobby. We ate at the Seawall restaurant, overlooks the pedestrian and cycleway, excellent food but a bit expensive. Buffet breakfast was also excellent, price at this time was $28 per adult. Nice outdoor heated pool, also has an indoor pool and gym.Would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Vancouver and we will return.

Bed is first class!!
The bed was very sooo comfortable with extra pillows.. Bed is first class!! The bathroom was clean and comfortable. I had a harbor view room that was very spacious and very nice. Modern, contemporary furnishings. A Pleasant stay. The food the hotel served at the convention was very good quality. I enjoyed my time at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver.

A Pleasant stay in a Great Location.
We only had a night in this Hotel, but it was clean and enjoyable. We had a great view but the room lacked some of the amenities that we are accustomed to when we stay in a "Deluxe" room. An empty bar fridge and no water or snacks to offer a tired traveler. We were delightfully surprised in the morning, however, when we went for a swim in the Hotel's outdoor pool. It is one of the largest we have seen and we have seen a lot We had a marvelous time enjoying some sunshine and frolicking in the warm, clean water. We would return just for the fun in the pool. We didn't have time to use it, but the workout center looked great, and includes an indoor pool and hot tub, as well.

Nice place just off the beaten path
This is just off the beaten path, but within walking distance of downtown Vancouver and access to the waterfront walking/biking paths. Check in was very quick, with extremely friendly staff who were very attentive to you throughout the stay. The concierge was very helpful in helping the group I was with find a great place for dinner ¿¿¿ they even made reservations for us.I had a harbor view room that was very spacious and very nice. Modern, contemporary furnishings. Comfortable beds with extra pillows.I was here for a conference and the conference facilities were incredible. Food was very good.Only drawback was the ¿¿¿high-speed internet¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ Since I was there on business I needed WiFi - I had difficulty accessing this and it was intermittent at best. When I called the front desk, they told me I had to contact tech support ¿¿¿ I just waited until I was in an area that I knew I was able to access the internet. The Business Center charges you to use their computers, which again was not helpful.Otherwise, excellent stay in a nice location.

Great hotel, not convenient to Public Transit
I enjoyed my time at the Westin. The room was spacious and smelled fresh. (So many hotels smell of cleaning stuff.) The bed was very comfortable. I was at a convention, and the food the hotel served at the convention was very good quality. I was disappointed not to get a mountain view, but if I stepped out onto my miniscule balcony and leaned over, I could see the mountains. There was also a sliver of the bay that was directly visible when I sat at the large, comfortable desk. The bathroom was comfortable and had the same nice quality toiletries as other Westin Hotels.The wifi was surprisingly good for a hotel room -- a blessing to an American who didn't want to use foreign data service on the cell phone.The neighborhood around the hotel is nice, and pleasant to walk through. My only complaint was that I had to take a cab to get to or from the hotel. It was too far form public transit to get there with luggage.
