A must experience for every family or couple.
I stayed in this with my DH on last day of our Europe trip. It is a lovely old fashioned house of 1920.Atmosphere and place: It is an old house and will fascinate you from its decor. The old fashioned wooden lifts, the light switches,grand furniture, the old shower on the terrace with view of Barcelona, the chandeliers etc . and its not at all crowded.The place will make u feel like u r a rich old king and queen for a day :)Rooms: our room was neat and clean with the street view.Electricity points were less.The bathroom was shared but we just stayed for a day and may be a coincidence that it was always free when we needed it. In spite of being shared, it was kept neat and clean. Showers were powerful. no hair dryer though. A relaxed evening at terrace or balcony with your dear ones is something to vouch for.service and staff: all we just met was a kind caretaker who only knew Spanish. so English was a bit problem but sign language worked just well.Breakfast: breakfast included veg, nonveg, vegan options. we are vegetarians and satisfied with the variety and taste. Connectivity: The metro station is just walking distance from the place, so offers a broad time frame for a traveler to visit places. we returned late night and it was quite safe.This place might have some little flaws but this is a lovely experience to have.Attached some photos as well. and will definitely recommend every family or couple to stay here. U'll cherish the memories of this place even when u are back home.

average accomodation
During booking friendly staff. Never saw anyone during my stay except housekeeping staff. Breakfast was good. Glad we choose a room with bathroom in stead of sharing the bathroom. There was only one electricity point in the room, so I had to change the smart phones for charging in the middle of the night.City-train station is nearby. You can use the metro tickets.I have no complaints, but will not recommend this B&B.

Somewhere different to Stay.
A good and slightly quirky option for a stay in Barcelona. North of the city center but easy to access using the Metro it is the sixth floor of an apartment block. There is a wonderfully old fashioned lift if you don't fancy the 6 flights of stairs. Lots of beautiful dark wood and chandeliers it feels more like someones home than a hotel. Run by 2 very helpful house keepers who provide breakfast in an ornate dinning room or on the terrace overlooking the hills to the north. The Park Guell is a really interesting 20 minute walk away. Recommended.

A place with true character.
One of the most original places i've stayed in. If you are interested in a home-like atmosphere with interesting decoration this is for you. The neighbourhood was also nice, a few km from the tourist attractions.

I loved this place.
I stayed here in May for 7 days with my boyfriend (not consecutively as we visited sitges and cadacques too) but I loved it. Was it a 5 star hotel? no. but it felt like home, like what it would have been like if we lived in beautiful Barcelona. The maid, Susie (I hope the spelling is right) spoke absolutely no english but she was so pleasant we didn't mind. we just spoke to her with very broken spanish (right out of the dictionary!) and gestures. and we conversed pretty well- so I wouldn't worry unless you were the super impatient type. we stayed in every room I think, and the one upstairs (the red room) was gooooorgeous, looking out to the big balcony and the beautiful view.The breakfast is limited (toast, cereal, eggs cooked to your liking and cold hams/salami) if you are used to hotel buffets, but as barcelona is such an amazing place to eat around in, I don't think it would be a problem. if it is warm, you can eat on the first floor (of casa con estilo, not the building obviously) balcony too, which is lovely! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
