Second time around
Wow. The first stay back in march was a disaster. The heat didn't work the room was worn down an the front desk staff was ineffective. This time the room on the club level was right on par. The club lounge here is still a stepchild of the Sheraton family.

Tainted brand name of Sheraton
This location is completely insufficient to presented as a one of Sheraton affiliates. From Quality to cleanliness is not up to the standard. Very old, only 1 out of 4 elevators working after 9pm, customers have to wait for 5+mins. Stay away. Unless its only for a night and don't mind the avg. hotel.

Great service!
Stayed at the hotel for a night and the room was updated and very clean. I especially want to commend the restaurant who were able to accommodate our big group, who didnt have a reservation (even though it was very busy). My compliments to the chef, who actually came out to see if we enjoyed our dinner. Room service from the previous night was excellent too!

Not too shabby....
We stayed here Friday night for a MUSE concert at the IZOD Center. Here are my thoughts on this place:Location - In terms of proximity to the Meadowlands arenas and stadiums, I don't know if you can get any closer. You won't be able to walk there, but for events, this hotel may run a shuttle that is $5/person/trip. This is a pretty good deal. Aside from that, there are no shopping venues or restaurants within walking distance (realistically). The only time this is an inconvenience is when you get back to the hotel after 11pm and may still be hungry. But aside from that, the location is really nice.Value - Not too bad. $120 for a night (I'm sure you can find it cheaper online or something). The proximity to NYC and the Meadowlands makes the price attractive. Also, the room was spacious and comfortable.Ammenities - The exercise area (I'm sure that's what EVERYONE is looking for...) is very modern and it looked great. I didn't use it though. :-) The pool (indoor) is on the smaller side so look for it to get crowded at times. The hot tub wasn't working so no comment. There's a sauna, but I didn't go there either. Vending machines are on the 3rd floor. fairly standard. In the room, the bathroom was decent, the bed was comfy, and the tv had channels a'plenty. Please note the following: You will not having a refrigerator in the room. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind when bringing food back to the room. Second is that Wireless internet access is available in your room as long as you are paying for it. No free wifi there. Also a small issue since I had 4G hotspot going.Overall - It was a good stay. I liked that there were a lot of conveniences and help available in the lobby (gift shop, Starbucks, Restaurant, Transportation desk, Computer/internet area. room was comfortable and clean. check in/check out was easy and painless.I would recommend this place.

Great Place for Business Conferences!
Big facility. Plenty of space in the event hall. Starbucks to keep you awake and if you are a rewards member you get free wifi. Things to keep in mind. There is only 1 restaurant. So plan your lunches and breaks accordingly as there are many conferences at any given time and the wait could be killer. PS. Don't listen to the front desk about not having taxi service in that area. The Taxi Driver I spoke with said they are based out the neighboring town which they are obviously more than willing to drive to. It is about $20 from the subway station to the hotel - OR in taxi $120 from La Guardia to hotel.
