I stayed here on my own and the food in the evenings was terrible - bad selection every night,poorly cooked and the tables were crammed together. Some of the restaurant staff were very rude too and some older people were eating lots of fruit to fill themselves up

We stayed here in May 2012, The room and location was fine but the only way to describe the food was HORRENDOUS! It was like feeding time at the zoo & the food was disgusting. Paid for all inclusive and had to eat out for every meal! waste of money! Never again!

Myself and 3 friends stayed at the Globales during the first 2 weeks in June this year. Service - The hotel staff were very helpful. You can drop off your room key behind the desk when leaving and then pick back up when coming back from a night out. 24 hour desk service made a difference. In the bar/entertainment area the staff would come around and clean up your drinks for you.Value - We purchased a package holiday including flight for ¿¿600 for 2 weeks. I would say this is very decent value for what we got, all inclusive hotel stay and flights.Sleep quality - As we were out drinking quite alot sleeping wasn't a problem. There was rarely any noise from the other rooms or the hallway. If there was it was usually my friends who were making it. The beds were very comfy and changed daily as long as you were out the room on time. I once had to sleep next to the pool one night as my friend fell asleep and locked me out, but this wasn't a problem.Cleanliness - The rooms were kept to a high standard of cleanliness. We were quite messy so it was good to see the room fixed again when we came in. The cleaning staff were clearly very good.Location - The hotel is literally 2 minutes from the beach and 5 from the main strip, so it was perfect. It was also quiet enough that there wasn't alot of noise outside the hotel at night.Rooms - Our room was a decent size, with twin room, TV, phone that were all functioning well. We had a balcony which looked onto the pool which was great. There was an extended room from the balcony so there was no chance of you falling off, and also meant we could access our friends room next door without always having to chap their door.Pool area - We spent a fair bit of the days next to the pool. It was always clean and very relaxing. It could be full of children depending on the time of the day but it was still peaceful enough. There was constant five-a-side football games on the go as well as volleyball and table tennis.All in all this was a nice hotel to stay in, I would recommend to anyone and if I go back to Santa Ponsa I will stay here again.All in all this was a very decent hotel to stay in if going to Santa Ponsa. I would recommend to anyone.

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids booked into the Globales PLaya Santa Ponsa for one week all inclusive,you have the use of all 3 hotels in the same street all of which are of a good standard,the Globales PLaya is a nice hotel however as everyone has commented the rooms and shower are designed for umpa lumpas and are very basic,the hotel lifts are also extremely small two people at a push but all in all ok,we were all moved to the sister hotel the Pioneero on the Sunday as the playa was closing for the season which was a lucky break for us the hotel is far superior in every way,large rooms and great facility's if you are going all inclusive the food is good if a bit repetitive at times,avoid the all inclusive drinks if possible local spirit brands,and beer like water,you can however upgrade for 10¿¿¿ per day and benefit from branded spirits beer ect and better food,worth it if you intend to stay in the hotel and watch the shows which to be fair are really quite entertaining for the most part,all in all a good experience and worth the money paid,however beware and pack elasticated trouser as all inclusive will swell your waist line!

Me and my partner had a fab week staying at the Playa Santa ponsa the hotel was clean the staff were mostly helpful although some didn,t speak English but all in all everything including the food was ok for a 2 star Hotel there was plenty of it although repetition of menu towards end of week, the only down side was the size of the toilet especially the shower which was tiny if you were of portly proportions you would struggle to get in it, the Hotel itself is central for the strip and also only a couple of hundred yards from the beach only negative of the whole week was my partner was feeling unwell and went to use the toilet in the restuarant Mark Anthony,s and got refused as we weren,t sitting at a table we were welcomed in a Spanish cafe just down from it so starting using it for our meal stops, would I go back yes definitely...
