Great location only thing going for this hotel
Can't see how this is a four star , it's dated , old, needs an upgrading, not wonderfully clean . the hairdryer made me laugh as it would have taken me hours to dry my hair if it had not come apart in my hands. Could almost live with this as the location is great right by the flower market and Dam square where the Palace is . I wasn't expecting the poor service from the hotel staff. People take the mick out the Brits but I've had better service in England than this lot. We tried to book a trip and the two receptionists hadn't a clue - they blamed the new 'system' - i'd never get away with that at work - they wouldn't let me loose on the 'system ' without knowing how it worked - we had to keep telling them what they had done was wrong . We booked breakfast but when we turned up the waiter said we hadn't booked , which is ok as mistakes happen but it was his attitude , huffing and puffing because he had to check . I don't have to spend my money here and probably wouldn't again . No automatic free wifi you have to log in every 24 hours

Couldn't be happier!
Been traveling around Europe and have stayed in ten hotels. This is all of the great things of the hotels that I've stayed at rolled into one! Great location, amazing room, sheets, bathroom, products down to candy on the pillow! Balcony with a killer view. I only wish that I was staying here longer!

Has an excellent experience here
I had to stay almost one month in this hotel. The decor is outdated bit my room was clean. Mattress a little worn. Upgraded to balcony room which I appreciated. Breakfast was good and large selection and I felt the staff was polite and friendly. The cleaning staff was very helpful ANSI was ill and had to stay in the room for several days. The personnel on the dining room were extremely accommodating. I have no cola omits about this hotel. I plan to stay here I the future.

Below average. Bad service
This hotel is old and needs urgent refurbishment. This is not a proper 4star hotel in any possible way. Reception staff are inneficient and bordering on rude. It is very unlikely I would stay there again

A business hotel
Stayed here for 7 nights for a conference. The room was clean and comes with wood flooring.I was given a room on the 5th floor facing the clock tower and floating flower market. The bathroom comes with bathtub and shower. The good: 1) City center location 2) Close to Rembrant square which has good restaurants 3) Just 1km to Dam Square or 20mins walk 4) Tram stations within 5 mins walk 5) Lots of shopping area around it especially the floating flower market. 6) Good customer service staff 7) Only 20 mins to the airport 8) From Central Train Station its about 2kmThe down side: 1) No safe box in the room 2) The room was not sound proof and therefore the street noise does get to the room 3) Shared Ironing room on the 7th floor but only 1 one iron box for all to share. Bad idea for a 4 star hotel. Strangely when I requested for housekeeping for hotel pressing service they sent me an iron and ironing board. 4) Breakfast was poor for Euro 20. You are better off eating at the various cafes around the hotel but mostly open at 9am onwards. Definitely a business hotel.
