Weekend City Break
We spent a weekend in the city recently and found the Adina was central to anywhere we needed to get to, good service and great food, a happy weekend all round. The apartments are close to the river so easy to get to the citycat ferry to go anywhere on the river, lovely views of the Storey Bridge at night, and easy access to all the beautiful restaurants along the river banks.

Clean Rooms, Helpful Staff
Stayed at the Adina with a friend on the 27th April. The room was small and pokey, but very clean. The views are very nice from the balcony. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There was no spare blanket for the fold out couch, but upon calling reception they brought one up straight away. A few little extras wouldn't go astray with this hotel, perhaps it is best suited to business people travelling into our city for a quick business stay. I would not recommend the hotel for a romantic night or a family. But its easy enough for an overnight stay with friend/s if you just want easy and clean rooms, nothing more.

No thank you.
I recently stayed here for my 18th birthday and did not enjoy my stay. The only bathroom was in the master bedroom and everyone had to come in and use the toilet which was just annoying and inconvenient. The beds were hard and my pillow was like sleeping a giant rock. The staff were very unsympathetic when I had trouble coming up with the $100 deposit (that I didn't know about! Using all my money I had to go out that night and leaving me to borrow money off my friends on my own birthday. They could have mentioned the deposit on the website) and they said I would be getting the money back the next day, and when I came to check out and they told me it was going to take 5-7 business days to get that money back. I had booked this apartment online, they took all my credit card details as if I'd paid for it but when I got there I had to pay for it upfront. They didn't tell me anything about the deposit nor the apartment not being paid for and I was left money-less on my own birthday. The pool was tiny unlike in the photo where it looks massive. The spa was gross filled with hair balls and skin flakes. Plus the when we got there into our apartment the bathroom smelt like someone had just taken a massive dump in there. SO CLASSY.

Horrible experience
Recently stayed on 27/04/2013. Things got worse and worse. The room we get allocated was small and only contains one bathroom which is inconviently located in the master room so everytime one needs to use the toilet we have to intrude. There was a horrible black mark smeared all over one light fixture. Glasses were not cleaned properly and had white gunk in them. The side tables were assembled poorly. The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the view of the river and story bridge. There was a huge issue me and my friends had with reception. They were highly unprofessional and unapologetic for the trouble they caused us. The policy of checking every single ID upon coming back to your room is quite unnecessary and also escorting people after 10 to their rooms is quite intrusive. The reception are quite forgetful too as they forgot to check the person who stayed before us if he had given the two sets of keys. The person before us took the second set leaving me and my 3 friends left with only one set of keys. Because of the unprofessional behaviour of the reception we asked for refund about 4 hours after we checked in. In which they obliged. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. Worst hotel experience ever.

Excellent views just a shame about traffic noise when sitting on balcony. Quiet inside.
Great view looking up the river. Bit noisy on the balcony but Ok when inside. Bathrooms really need updating and bed not very big or comfortable. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very average and food luke warm ( cold plates didn't help)Coffee was good.Easy walk along the river to cafes and city centre. Just the climb up the hill to apartments may make this difficult for some people. We took our bicycles and had a lovely ride across Storey Bridge and on to Southbank then back through Botanical and city ( all flat) .
