Not for me!
I stayed with a group at this hotel in Berlin so I had no choice. The location is not very close to the underground station, and the stations that are closest aren't the most convenient lines for tourists. The lobby is non-existent. You enter into a small space taken up by the reception desk faced by two chairs and a mirror. Just beyond there is an open space but I would hardly call it a lobby. There is no bar. There is an elevator but it is small and slow. Most people dragged their suitcases up the staircase. My room was so small and narrow I felt that I was living in a dormitory. I had a bed, a very small night stand, one chair, and a rather shabby closet. No fridge, no safe. There was a TV. I've been in youth hostels with better accomodations. The staff was helpful except for one night clerk who had a confrontation with some of our group. To be fair, the management sorted that out. The breakfasts were quite OK although not expansive (one kind of egg, every morning). The dining room manager was a gem, and deserves singular praise for his willingness to help - out of nowhere and at the last minute, he winkled alternatives for gluten limited guests. On the whole this hotel is not for me.

Not advisable when there's a big convention in Berlin
The hotel is positioned as a budget hotel, however during periods that there is a big convention in Berlin they tend to jack up their prices which make the stay not worth it. The rooms are very small and the hallways are tight. Breakfast is very simple, which makes it not worth it if your charged premium.

Will stay again
The hotel is in a good location, close to the shopping area and a small supermarket. The staff were friendly and answered our questions straight away. The room we were given was spacious, clean and was very modern. The only drawback i could say was that the pillows were abit on the thin side but it was still ok.

Recommendable.
The bed collapsed the moment we sat down. Without any problem, we were assigned to another room. Both rooms were quite spacious and clean, although the first room's bathroom was quite small. The hotel was conviently located in the vicinity of a metro station (300 meter) and the Kurf¿¿rstendamm. Personnel was friendly and helpful.The only con was the lack of free wifi.We stayed for 2 nights and would stay in this hotel again, if we were to return to Berlin.

Small
I chose a pretty small and basic room but cheap.A single bed in just 8 sqmeters...no frills but clean ,quiet ,not far from 2 U bahn stations.Won't please the claustrophobic type .Staff : Horrible man on the evening of my arrival,barking in german without a smile... much nicer fellow on duty in the morning
