An excellent quieter Hong Kong option.
I've just spent a month at this hotel and have to list this as one of my top stays. The hotel has the kind of staff that treat you like family and yet never come across as fake and all corporate civility. Even though it is far from the inner city, the MTR and bus stops are right outside the front door. The peace and quiet is also quite welcome after a busy city day. Restaurants are great and they definitely have the best equipped hotel gym I've ever seen. This, in my opinion, is an excellent hotel and well worth investigating.

Great service!
We stayed there for 3 nights and the room was very spacious and clean. The hotel staff was great and were very helpful with suggestions on how to get to places and where to go. The location wasn't great but we took advantage of the free shuttle bus services to get to the city. The bus doesn't come very often so make sure to check the schedule first. The hotel is also steps away from the metro station. We had an enjoyable stay but if we were to go to Hong Kong again, we'd probably try and find a hotel closer to the city centre.

Not 5-star as it claims
Room is of decent size and quite new. Location is very far from the Hong Kong city center. You must take the train to get there and very few stores near the hotel. Very remote... Restaurant and front desk service are "ok"... not 5-star as it claims.. more like just a 4-start hotel.

Nice change from the usual
Stayed for 3 nights and it was a comfortable stay with a scenic harbour. The room and especially the toilet were spacious. bed was comfy and housekeeping did a gd job of keeping things clean. Needless to say location can be a minus for those heading to central HK and new to HK. but Hyatt more than makes up for this with a free shuttle to TST, kowloon station and even the new town plaza which is just 2 stops away, to and fro, a few times a day with gd service from the drivers. we chose to stay here as we liked that it was a change from the usual and one stop away, tai o market, takes u to a different part of HK. New town plaza has all the major brands too and the A41 Long Win bus to the airport is just below the huge mall. Worth a try even if new to HK.

It's ok
Laying in the new Territories, this Luxurious Hotel provides good service and free Wifi. The room are however a little outdated. It is just 100m from the MTR station "university", which is 30 minutes away from Hong Kong Island. The hotel has a nice pool and good food. The Hotel is a little isolated and no bars or restaurants are within walking distance. Therefore some services are a little overpriced: breakfast $30, beer $7, coffee $5. Only one station away lies a big shopping center Sha Tin.
