On our way from The Strip in Vegas going to Arizona we were passing this hotel when we stopped for a drink and break. Loved it. It sits there on its own between Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. It is a world away from the strip but offers you gambling, dining, relaxing and an overnight stay. When our stay in Arizona was over we made our way back to stay at the Hacienda and was not disappointed. It is not fancy like some of those hotels on the strip but it is very welcoming and relaxing. We did the Hoover Dam one day and Lake Mead the next.Thank you to all staff you added something special to my holiday plus we had a lovely little win of $1200 which was the icing on the cake. I hope to come back again one day

Worst Internet!
After 4 visits, we're done with this handy hotel due to the ridiculously inept company they gave Internet service to... to charge us $9.99/day for WiFi. I spend AT LEAST a half hour each visit on their 800 number getting hooked up... Only to lose connection over and over. This happens every time we stay here%#! No more! Even with view of lake and helicopters last visit, we won't be back.Don't subject yourself to this frustration!

Ya get what you pay for
Don't stay here if you're expecting a 4 star experience. The Hacienda isn't that kind of place. This is a location for the budget-minded traveler. Basic, no frills, but a good value for the price paid. Clean rooms and nice amenities.

This place is a dump but who cares, I won $7000!
The guest room I stayed in for traveling with dogs was horrible. Dog pee on the drapes, carpet filthy, shower head was falling off and left a hole. I tipped a housekeeper $20 to clean up the room (they had no other rooms available) and it was slightly better. The buffet is unedible. Even the baked potato was bad. But the reataurant is okay. In the past I've stayed in regular rooms and they were okay. But I won $7000 so all is forgiven! Stay away from the buffet and the dog guest rooms and you'll be okay.
