"very clean hotel close to the sea front"
Very helpful reception staff. We arrived late in the evening and were allowed to go and dine before checking in fully, much appreciated after hours of travelling. When booking, we asked for a room with a partial sea view. Imagine our pleasant surprise to find we had in fact been given a suite, bedroom, changing room, lounge, bathroom and a balcony overlooking the bay. All the staff were very friendly, well presented and extremely helpful. Everywhere in and around the hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy at all times. We were staying on a half board basis and found the choice, quality and quantity of the food to be excellent.

"Good hotel, friendly staff, really enjoyable stay."
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hesperia, from the welcome glass of cava at check in right up to our reluctant departure. Our "standard" room was well proportioned with a small veranda. The bathroom was modern and well maintained. The "his and hers" washbasins were a nice touch. The shower was an over-bath type, but this was a "standard" room and for the price, I guess a separate shower would be too much to ask. The "double" bed was two singles pushed together but the single beds were in fact the size of small doubles and were very comfortable. The end result was a good night's sleep. Wonderful. On the subject of food, I can only comment on breakfast as we stayed B&B: A huge variety of dishes were available from full English to fresh fruit, peeled and sliced. There were cereals, yogurts, cooked meats, cheeses, salads, pancakes, pastries- I couldn't possibly list it all. The quality was good and even allergen and Gluten free diets were catered for. Staff were courteous, helpful and efficient. The only slight niggle was the tea: Why can you never get a decent cup of tea abroad? I had a birthday during our stay. I didn't mention this but someone must have noticed from the information in my passport. On returning to our room in the afternoon, we found a bottle of cava on ice, a piece of cake with a candle and a happy birthday note from the hotel. What a lovely surprise! A wonderful gesture and a demonstration of the effort put in to make our stay memorable. Well done Hesperia.

"good location"
this is our 3rd time here.but they have been some changes. the good things are the rooms have been revamped to a good standard. and for a stay on hb they now have a beach sunbed in the grounds which is very nice. the bad thing is the golf course was not available and rundown and staff cutbacks.so tables for meals not reset in time and lack of cleaning in main lobby .the brass handles on stairs were terrible.

"Nice Hotel, shame about the noise."
We stayed for a week and were generally pleased with the hotel, the only issue we had was for 3 days there was a lot of noise coming from the rooms above us where workmen were renovating those rooms(just daytime). It wasnt too bad for a couple of days but on one particular day the noise was very bad and went on till 18.30 and we were also getting debris falling onto our patio area. We did complain and offered another room but as we only had 2 days left we opted to stay in the room, to their credit they did stop the noise, gave us a little gift and apologize. It did particularly annoy me because we had paid extra for a sea view room, it made it a bit worthless because we couldn't use the patio in the daytime. We also feel, because we had an upgraded room they could have done a bit more to compensate the issue we had, maybe an upgrade to elite package for a day. This was the only bad thing about the place really, the staff are very hard working and professional, the food is ok, the location is fantastic and the view from a sea view room is excellent. We didn't let the issues spoil what was a good week and we would go back. I have to say if we didnt have the noise issue then it probarbly would be 5 out of 5 all the way.

"Good designed hotel on seafront (no beach) "
We paid extra for a superior room with a sea view. The room was nice but the trees growing in the grounds blocked out the sea view by about 80 - 85%. Also, as our room was situated to the side of the Hotel it overlooked some waste ground which the hotel groundsmen used to dumped their gardening waste with some of it in black bags. Some of the sea veiw was over the top of this waste ground.

"Fantastic Hotel"
This really is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff, lovely guests, nice food, immaculate grounds. Booked an all inclusive here through Expedia and separate flights. Arrived around 11am & was able to check in right away. My only disappointment was that we were on the ground floor 3 doors from the end of the hotel & the view was not great I had sent an email request for a higher level room but was told on check in that all the standard rooms were on the ground floor. It would of been nice if the hotel had replied to the email telling us this and perhaps offered the option to pay for an upgrade. Other than this everything was perfect. The Piano bar is open at 6pm in a lovely setting overlooking the sea, the pool bar serve drinks up until then & the service in all bars was fast & friendly often with the same staff alternating between all the bars. The entertainment is fabulous, we had a singer in the Piano bar the 1st night who was great & a rock n roll tribute band in the club who really knew how to entertain & get everyone dancing! The other nights were good too with a very funny show from the hotels animation staff. The food was lovely with not a chicken nugget in sight, but a varied selection of salads, grilled meats potato dishes, breads & fresh fruit and although I'm not a great dessert eater the selection looked wonderful. There was always home made pizza too. Everything is constantly being replenished & the staff are quick to clear the plates.

"Lovely Hotel, Excellent Breakfast"
Stayed at this hotel for a week in May. Check in Staff (Deborah) at Reception was lovely, made it all so easy. Had a Standard Room which was very nice. Air Conditioning in our room wasn't that strong. Fortunately May wasn't too hot weather wise but the room did get very warm although we had the A/C on full. I did feel that July/August could be very warm in the room. Apart from that, the room was very nice. We didn't have a great view but where we were was so quiet which was great. We were on a B&B basis and the Breakfast was excellent, such a great choice of drinks and food which considering it was Buffet Style was always hot which was so good. First time I've had buffet style food which has been hot and this was every morning so good job guys. Would we stay there again? Yes we would and we would recommend it.

"Great Spring Getaway"
Taking a week with the kids and family at the Easter half term, we had fancied going to the Dream Gran Castillo for several years. Finally this year we booked the hotel along with another a family of 4. The rooms were spacious enough and the bathrooms were set out so that several of you could use one facility or another rather than having to wait for someone to come out of the bathroom. The rooms were clean and the rooms we were in (A) were all staggered to give some privacy on the balcony and sea views. The facilities for adults and kids were great. As was the food and selection of all inclusive drinks. There was no need to upgrade to the Premium package unless you were desperate for a fluffier robe and a Bali bed. We have stayed in both the Sandos Papagayo and Mirador (neighbouring properties) and this was definitely the best of the 3.

Yaiza is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Yaiza, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Yaiza hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
