"Very nice staff"
I am a non smoker but the only rooms available were the smoking rooms. I took it reluctantly. I was pleasantly surprised that I could not detect the smell of second hand smoke in the room. The only smoke I smelled was in the hallway every once in a while if the guest in another room had just smoked. The elevator was a bit slower then that I would expect from a hotel that only has 5 floors. The breakfast was nice with a lot of variety. The cable provider I did not care for. The display only told you the channel number. It did not show the TV program on. Thus while channel surfing if you got to a station with commercials you had to wait till they were over to see what the show was that was on that channel. I visit the area once a month now to visit my daughter and son in law and have been looking for a hotel that I could call my home away from home and I may have found it.

"Exceptional !!"
I booked this location online based upon the majority of positive reviews. I had contacted the owner, Roger in advance of my stay to let him know that I would be an after midnight check in. Roger had promptly called me back to give me the instructions about my late check in an kindly asked me about what time I would like breakfast in the AM. This was the first time my wife and I have been to a B&B and I reserved this one as I was attending the 2016 Winter Classic Hockey game. Upon my late arrival there was a note for the pass code to enter the building. Upon my 12:30 AM arrival, I was greeted by the owner Corrine. She was very pleasant. The next morning we we greeted by Chris, who prepares the breakfast. She had a full breakfast prepared and was very cordial and down to earth. We had stayed there three days and the room was always in order. The facility is well kept, clean, and both the owner and Chris are very friendly. For all the reasons above, it an EXCEPTIONAL experience and I will definitely be coming back in the future !!

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
