Disappointing Stay – Would Not Return My experience at this hotel was disappointing. The staff was disengaged, unhelpful, and often rude, making interactions uncomfortable. Despite the Hilton website claiming it’s vegan-friendly, there were no real options—just prepackaged meals with no accommodations for dietary needs. Even my friends, who eat everything, found the food inedible. Bars were poorly stocked, often out of tequila, and drinks were mostly sugary and watered down. The “all-inclusive” claim was misleading—limited room service, no snacks or liquor in rooms, and strict buffet hours. The man-made beach was rocky with obstructed views, and the rooms were noisy with minimal entertainment. Beyond the hotel, taxis were overpriced ($30 for a 5-minute ride), and locals were generally unfriendly. I’ve visited better islands with nicer beaches and friendlier people—this trip to Curaçao was a letdown, and I won’t be back.

The staff particularly at Reception and Bar areas would rather be on their cell phones than serving customers. So much so, you’re often told or made to wait until private conversations or texts are completed. The pool is seldom cleaned..a paper servette was at the bottom for most of one week.

The RIF is a beautiful resort, we had the swim up room and the room was very spacious but I would recommend them adding a couch especially since the room was very big, overall we loved our room. The guy who helped us at the front desk (sorry I forgot his name) was amazing he gave us the run down of the resort as well as recommended a great steak restaurant we inquired about. The staff wasn’t as friendly as we’re used to when traveling but they weren’t unpleasant either. There was a lack in staff it was obvious as when you arrive there’s only one bell boy, the buffet is pretty much fend for yaself, we had to find our own seats which was fine but if you want to eat outside you have to find your own utensils and get your own drinks. Besides that food was decent, food by the beach was great. Not too many restaurant options on the Rif side, the Mexican food was mid so we did more eating dinner off the resort. As far as entertainment there was none, and it was definitely missing in my opinion. We did enjoy the hookah lounge on the beach it was so relaxing catching the sunset. Overall would I stay here again, YES!!

This resort needs serious improvement. The food was awful, and the service was even worse. We waited over 15 minutes just to be seated at one of the restaurants, only to find a dirty table with no staff in sight to clean it. When our food finally arrived, it was completely wrong, and the drinks were just as disappointing. The beach was another letdown—dirty and covered in seaweed, which made it far from the paradise we expected in Curaçao. The island itself is stunning, but unfortunately, this resort almost ruined our trip. Please fixed that fake Mexican menu at the Maya restaurant. When you finally sit down at the buffet to dine there’s no one to bring you a drink. Overall, this resort was a disaster. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The resort was everything and more! The room was exceptionally clean, the view from my room to the ocean was spectacular the food services were amazing, lots of options and the employees are very professional and courteous. They will take your pictures too. The excursions were close by, the beaches are to die for. Not much entertainment at night time. The photographer at the hotel is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I put emphasis on highly recommended. My birthday pictures are magazine worthy.

overall, our stay was good I would prefer a better way for making reservations for dining at the restaurants it was a bit tough for us. also I would recommend increase staffing at the buffet restaurant.

Staff is fantastic! Snorkeling at resort not so good-very small sea swimming area, and cruise ships park right outside in front of resort blocking sea view some days. Everything thing else is amazing, i.e. the food was great, the room was great, the property in general was great. The perfect all inclusive stay on Curacao!

Staff and natives of the island were so friendly! Food was tasty and rooms were gorgeous, spacious and clean. Hotel is walking distance to the “city”. It was a bit hard to book reservations for dinner and you don’t get WiFi at mangrove if you go there but all in all would stay here again we loved it!

It’s a self service all inclusive. No one to take your drink order by the pool. Always a line at the bar. Bar staff great drinks are a hit or miss. The pool chairs are plentiful however they could use some new padding. They do run out of towels so bring your own. Buffett was actually good no real complaints about it. My swim up room view was the parking garage! So I got some creepy stares and noisy nights. The pool was always cold and anybody could walk up. Overall wouldn’t stay here again

Frequent traveller. Stayed at the Rif for 7 nights. Dining option is good, buffet is huge. Seafood restaurant, Turkish, BBQ, Mexican, Italian, Japanese etc lots of dining option reservation is not an easy task though. Love the smoothie and cafe sections. Property is, common washroom area is always clean. Just lacking in entertainment (only seen one show which is the fire show and it’s great!) I guess it compensated on the fact that we were there during carnival week/weekend

The good - the whole resort is pretty nice and clean. The ability to use all the sister resort's amenities was a huge plus. The two beaches on site were nice although a little small. Great sunsets. The not so good - staff is generally aloof and could care less about your comfort. Asking for anything comes across as if you're asking a huge favor. Housekeeping and front desk won't answer the phone. Bartenders are ultra slow and don't know how to make drinks at all. Food is average at best. The buffet was above average but the onsite restaurants were all very disappointing. Finding a clean table during breakfast hours was a challenge. Overall - I can't recommend it, but it wasn't a horrible stay.
