"Cosy cabin with beautiful views"
We had a lovely stay in the Marie Gabrielle, the views were stunning. Had a lovely wood fire to help us keep warm during our autumn stay. The spa was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Very close to the 12 apostles, and about 30min drive away from port Campbell. Drew was great at explaining where everything was, and even gave us a map with tips on what to see.

"Cosy and Nice"
Carpark is in front of my room, easy for me to get my stuff from it as I was self driving. The room is spacious and clean and come with the thermal blanket! Nice! Hotel staff are friendly too. Worth staying!

"Value for money, very friendly staff"
We had a one-night stay in Port Campbell Motor Inn and we were happy with our stay. The stay started with a very friendly staff (unfortunately, we forgot to ask for her name) who greeted us at the reception and proceeded to arrange for our check-in expeditiously. The room condition was good, as highlighted by other travellers. One shortfall of our stay was the location of the heater in the room. As the heater was located near to the shower and at a distance away from the bed, we couldn't get the warmth from the heater during the cold winter night. Coincidentally, the night that we stayed was one of the colder nights in Port Campbell so the shortage of heater warmth made our stay less than perfect. Nontheless, we were happy with our stay. Special mention to the value-for-money $10/pax buffet breakfast that we requested. Although the breakfast variety was simple (there was only 2 pieces of bread each for 2 pax [toasted DIY], cereals, milk, coffee/tea, oranges, instant noodle cups), we felt that the breakfast was value-for-money as compared to other breakfast options in that vicinity. We would recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a one-night pit-stop stay along Great Ocean road.

"10/10"
Even though our stay here was shorter than we would have liked (we were on a tight schedule), the time we spent here was amazing. What a beautiful place to have as our second to last night in a month long vacation. I highly recommend this accommodation. Also - what a nice surprise when we arrived tired and hungry, to find several "treats" and a bottle of wine waiting for us. Our only regret was that we wish we could have stayed longer.

"Nice hotel"
The hotel is just by the road side on the great ocean route with a sea view room which is awesome. There is also a small lake with sheep roaming around which kids will love it. Perfect rest stop enroute to the 12 Apostles.

"Decent stay close to Port Campbell "
I stayed here for one night with family. The room is spacious and fairly clean although a bit dated. The staff is nice and very helpful. It only has one A/C (heater) in the hall, however the beds have electric blanket. It is close to shops and restaurants. Car park is just in front of the room. Its very close to Port Campbell attractions. Last time I stayed in Warrnambool but I think this is a better choice. One positive that I want to call out specifically is that, it had a provision (water and hose) where I was able to wash my car.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
