"Lovely hotel right on the water."
You cannot beat the location of this hotel, tucked away in a private beach with an ideal view of the sunset. The beach is surrounded by coral and we spent hours with our children exploring the area. But even better than the location was the wonderful Nila Beach resort staff! Always ready to accommodate and greet with a warm smile. We felt more like we were being welcomed into someone's home then staying in a hotel. This hotel is perfect for children of all ages and the staff is so warm and gracious and loves children. It is also private enough for a honeymoon. It is still being finished so we had the privilege of being one of two guests which was wonderful! The restaurant is also delicious and definitely a favorite among the locals. Place your order while lounging around the pool enjoying the view and they will even set up outside seating for you. If we ever make it back to Fiji, we will definitely be staying here again. They sang us a goodbye song when we left and it was very special.

"Wow! Beautiful, professional, friendly!"
My wife and I celebrated our two-year wedding anniversary at Tadrai Island Resort and we feel it was an absolutely perfect choice! They greeted us when we arrived with cheering as if we were celebrities. From the time we arrived until the time we left, it was clear to me that the only goal of the staff was to make our stay as perfect as possible. This is a very quiet and private resort with only a handful of couples checked in at any given time. So the staff goes out of their way to make sure that we as guests are always taken care of. We could ask for drinks and appetizers and they would hand deliver it to us in our private plunge pools. They decorated a fancy dinner for us on our anniversary night complete with a serenade from the staff singing to us! It was very romantic! On another day, we had lunch and private snorkeling on a beautiful sandy island a little ways from the resort. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. If you like, the gourmet lunch and dinners are served chef-choice style based on what foods you indicate to them that you like. Basically, they take care of EVERYTHING and all you have to do is tell them what you'd like to do! The phrase of the day was "Relax, you're on Fiji time." We have never in the past received such world class treatment. We didn't want to leave. The activities director, meals and housekeeping staff, thank you for a unique and unforgettable experience!

"GREAT RESORT LARGE BUT HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE."
THIS WAS MY 16TH VISIT...TRUELY MY FAVOURITE ISLAND HOTEL IN FIJI AND I HAVE VISITED MOST OF THEM. AS BIG AS THE RESORT IS I FEEL PART OF A FAMILY THANKS TO A WONDERFUL STAFF. SNORKELLING IS MY FAVOURITE ACTIVITY AND MANA HAS THE BEST AS THERE ARE 2 BEACHES SO IT IS ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO SNORKEL OFF ONE OR THE OTHER REGARDLESS OF TIDE OR WEATHER. I WAS TREATED WITH A BIRTHDAY CAKE BUT EVEN MORE SPECIAL WAS THAT STAFF REMEMBERED THAT I LIKE THE SONG LOMA LOMA AND SANG IT AS THEY BROUGHT THE CAKE TO MY TABLE....THAT IS AMAZING AS I HADN'T BEEN THERE FOR 2 YEARS.

"Very modern and clean, nice food, but a tad windy!"
You can see the money the Sheraton group have poured into this place - the rooms (certainly the ones we stayed in - interconnected Beachfront and Ocean Breeze) are spotless and very modern. The restaurant area is also very slick and clean. All in all, it's a typical, modern resort. Certainly there was a wide spectrum here, but on the whole the staff weren't nearly as engaged as they were at other places we stayed on this trip. This could be a function of the size of the place (it's big), or maybe it's just harder to find engaged staff in a resort environment. Food was excellent, but hideously expensive - 112 bucks for a steak anyone, 72 bucks for a bowl of pasta ? We ended up changing how we ate because of the cost which wasn't ideal and the captive-audience-tax that they can (and do) apply here left a pretty sour taste in our mouths. Water sports are a mixed bag. Firstly, it was only calm for 2 mornings and 2 full days out of 8 and unfortunately the resort is very exposed the south-easterly trade winds. When it was calm, the snorkelling off the beach at the drop-off was excellent - not Rainbow Reef quality certainly, but still really good. I, however, had two major issues - (i) the kayaks were restricted (by the jet-ski "police") from staying within the field of view of the resort AND not going beyond the edge of the reef. For someone who likes to kayak a lot, I found this frustrating. The second issue was one of noise pollution. The jet-ski's are incessant.

"very impressed"
My partner and i stayed at Bekana in December 07. We had an amazing time, the staff were amazingly helpful and frendly, we felt like we were not only staying at a hotel but with locals that in a matter of days became good friends. Bekana is different in that you wont get a 5 star experience with 5 pools,3 bars and 3 restaruants it is much better than that. The rooms are very nice, big, beautiful and comfortable but the secluded feel is still there being right on the edge of the island with the water a stones throw from your front door. We loved every minute of it, we relaxed, helped cook our dinner in a traditional fijian pit and made bracelets from coconuts, and not in a group of 25 tourists, just us!! We would not hesitate to stay at Bekana on our next visit to Fiji, for the place and the people.

Vomo Island is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Vomo Island, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Vomo Island hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
