"Grand old lady"
I had been meaning to come to Victoris Falls and stay at this hotel for years. So, to finally do it was a thrill. I am pretty realistic in my expectations of refurbished former grand estates but it really was in great shape. The front desk service was excellent, food and beverage services likewise. Great room and wonderful outlook. Topped off by superb sunrise and sunsets.

We stayed here for three nights. I liked that it was a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of the city. At night it was quiet and filled with the noises of animals. Our room overlooked the watering hole which had an abundance of animals throughout the day and was lovely with high vaulted ceilings and mosquito netting. The mosquito nets set a romantic tone to the room, but we quickly realized that they also were a necessity at night! The pool had an amazing view, although alittle cold, I didn't care it had to jump right in!!! Check out the Boma located on site. Would stay here again!

"A Classic Victoria Falls hotel"
A classic Victoria Falls hotel which encapsulates the African experience with the historical significance of a bygone era. It's many pluses are the ambience matching the significance of the "falls" with African bush from the thatched roofs to the nightly dining menu. Unfortunately the menu selection remained the same night after night and offered limited choice to those not comfortable digesting local animals. Rooms vary according to price but some are up to a half a kilometre from reception. Great if you're seeking privacy but awkward if the electronic room key malfunctions as it did.on at least four occasions! Service is impeccable ......a unique Zimbabwe characteristic......the best in Southern Africa! But staff are again difficult to find amongst the myriad of passageways..... A reception linked communication system would not go amiss from strategic locations in the hotel and its grounds.. In short one of the top tour establishments with the exception of its nightly dining fare !

"Satisfactory stay at Victoria Falls"
Hotel fits the bill if you aren't looking for 5 star accommodations. We don't spend much time in the hotel so it was fine. It could use some maintenance.

"Friendly warm staff ."
My husband and I stayed at the Victoria Deluxe Suites for 2 nights at Vic Falls . The staff were very friendly and warm. It felt like being at home. It was also a very quiet hotel only 14 rooms. Compared to the room rates at the other hotels the rate here was reasonable bearing in mind that Zimbabwe is very expensive and was worth it. The chef prepared us an alacarte menu on our first night that was excellent and breakfast was also quite good .we however felt they should provide complimentary water to the room instead of charging. We enjoyed our stay at Vic falls

"Great staff, great breakfast, great room."
Room was beautiful and clean with a great view of the beach and the town. The receptionists were generally friendly, but some definitely more than others. Particular call-out to Brian, who really helped me feel welcome, told me a lot about how to travel around the town and where to eat, and booked me a transport to the airport for a very reasonable price. The breakfast is great - coffee/tea, two eggs any style, sausage, bacon, and beans for $5! For much less food you'd pay $10 at nearby Lola's (although an excellent restaurant for actual food). There's an awesome swimming pool in the back that was rarely used. It has private showers and changing rooms. Really enjoyed staying at N1.

Victoria Falls is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Victoria Falls, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Victoria Falls hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
