The shower had black mould. There were no hangers to hang clothes on. There was no safe. Sometimes the towels had stains. The breakfast was limited to eggs, sausages, OJ and coffee/tea every day. Easy check in, 200 baht key deposit. Very friendly helpful staff. My special request was granted, thank you. Room very dusty, furniture aged and unstable. The room was much smaller than I have stayed in before. Could use coffee maker. All round it was a great stay.

Loei Village Hotel
It is a basic hotel at a reasonable price. The bed is thai style hard. The room was spacious but virtually no sound isolation from the hallway. Something on the breakfast menu gave me food poisoning for 10 days, so be careful.

Loei Residence
It's not fancy. The location is great. Its next to the bus stop, and there's plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Loei is not a major tourist stop. If you are in the area, this is definitely the place to stay.

Probably the best hotel in this area. Limited choice around there, but good friendly staff. Simple breakfast if desired. 2nd time staying here. Will probably stay again next year.
