"Nice weekend escape. "
Reading reviews, many note the aging facilities. This is an accurate point of view, but found to have zero impact on our stay. The facilities were very clean and maintained. Our Expedia deal included a spa massage. This was a fantastic and relaxing experience. The staff were great, and the process was professional. The assistance provided to have dinner at the neighbouring Banyan Tree Treetop Restaurant was great, as well as the experience of eating there. The pricing of resort food and adventures is quite high, but we didn't find that to be a deterrent. Would happily visit this resort again.

"Tranquility and excellent quality across the board"
Truly 5* experience starting from the Sanchaya airport lounge/transfer service, the complimentary à la carte breakfast (truffle eggs and eggs benedict are particularly memorable) to the spotless suite and white sand private beach. Definitely higher end price wise but worth the extra dollars!

"Friendly place"
I can't fault the kind intention of the staff. They were friendly and polite. And although the food was good, it was unfortunate that the wait staff were too relaxed and didn't get our order correct not once but three times! They were also slow to get the meals out to us and that shouldn't have happened as it was a quiet time and we were the only diners on our first day.

Overall okay. Just that checking in took long and most of the activities were fully booked. So just relax and chill.

"Nice hotel and it is close to the beach."
Really enjoy the stay. ♡ It is really close to the beach and not crowded as most of the time children are at the pool side.

"A cosy hotel in a refreshing part of Bintan Resort"
It's our third holiday in Bintan Resort, and we hope to explore other parts of the beautiful island, away from the main enclave i.e Angsana, nirwana area. We chanced upon Grand Lagoi, a resort nestles in Lagoi Bay, a 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal. We booked the hotel for a 2 nights stay, and we were happy to make the decision! The rooms are relatively new and clean, with a nice infinity pool and a small baby pool on the 7th floor. Breathtaking view of the lagoon and beach greeted us from the infinity pool. The buffet breakfast was pretty decent, with good spread of indonesian and western food. The staff were very professional and warm. Grand Lagoi is in the epicentre of Lagoi Bay. There is a nice lagoon on its left - 5 mins walk. You could rent bicycles from the hotel, and ride along the lagoon. It is pretty scenic. The beach is on its right, a 3 minutes walk away, after lagoi plaza, a small mall with few restaurants, massage spa, minimart and clothing shops. The beach is clean and sandy, and you can do the usual beach activities there. The icing for our trip was finding relatively inexpensive and good food near the beach. Check out Warung Yeah, a hipster restaurant beside the beach serving good indonesian cusines with a twist!

"Nice Resort Close to the beach, a bit dated"
Nice Resort Close to the beach, a bit dated. the good: good facilities, kids club is good, there's a kids indoor playground as well which was well enjoyed by kids. the beach is nice and good for kids. Breakfast is good. Indian food was good. The bad: Food is way too expensive. Each bottle of water is 6$. Better carry water and some food with you. The rooms are big but the air conditioning was leaking. One of the lift was not working. Badly needs a renovation.

"Great little gem"
The resort is new, and all the facilities are well maintained. With all the rooms sea facing with private balcony and sunbeds, it was no doubt a brilliant experience. The area is peaceful, has its exclusive beach with the infinity pool overlooking it and staff were welcoming catering to all our requests. Breakfast was a good Asian selection variety. Rooftop bar enjoyed a scenic panaromic view of the open sea. Transport from the airport required double confirmation but it was only a small matter. No doubt it is a little gem with great potential and look forward to coming back again!

Tanjung Pinang is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tanjung Pinang, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tanjung Pinang hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
