"Decent hotel but no view"
Close to the pier which was a must for us. Less than 5 minutes. Bed was very comfy and king size. AC worked great and surroundings were very quiet. No mould or mucky smell. Clean all around. Free internet.

"Lots of Potential"
Stayed Jan 25 to Jan 29. This could be a grand hotel if the facilities and fixtures were kept up to date and/or repaired. The location is both heaven and hell. Heaven: It is located on the main thoroughfare of Tahiti downtown. It is in walking distance of virtually everything in Papeete and, should one prefer an auto, has a spacious no-fee garage beneath the hotel. Hell: It is located on the main thoroughfare of Tahiti downtown. We had a street view with a "not so picturesque" 3-story apartment/shops building across the street (laundry and boxer shorts clad gentleman on display, etc.). Street noise was loud and constant. The room was spacious and well appointed, but furnishings were somewhat used and abused (don't turn over the sofa cushions)! There were lots of minor repairs needed throughout the hotel. Room service was nonexistent as was the pool staff. The ice machines on the floor (3) had been recently removed (even the maids were surprised) so for ice we trekked to the hotel bar. The pool was very nice for swimming laps or just soaking. Depth was about a meter and a half throughout. The restaurant food was extraordinary and the bar was nice. The staff of both were excellent. The front desk staff were also excellent and extremely helpful. Again, save for traffic noise, this could be a grand hotel if the facilities and fixtures were kept up to date and/or repaired. Even as is, it compares favorably with "luxury" hotels near Papeete. I would definitely stay there again.

"A great place to relax."
Very friendly staff, the resort isn't for from town, the restaurant and bar can be a little spendy but it's all right on the beach, a great place to relax in the evening and even swim in the fresh water pool.

"Got the view Matisse painted."
At first we were skeptical, but the place grew on us. If you want North American standards, go to the big hotels out of town. If you want an authentic Papeete experience stay here. Ask for an outside corner room for an amazing view of Moorea. Ignore the main street--you won't hear it after hours. Lobby is a breezeway; you have to turn on your room's air conditioner. Speaking French helps with the front desk staff but they try hard. Great location, if you are interested in the downtown. Easy walks to supermarkets. If you want golf and private beaches go to the big hotels. Lovely parks in three directions, shopping everywhere. If you want golf and private beaches, go to the big hotels instead. Acquaintances of ours who did so somewhat regretted not having our location here for at least part of the time on island.

"Gorgeous property"
This was an amazing location and views, great checkin and out, hunky luggage handlers, a beautiful infinity pool facing West for amazing sunsets. We had a fantastic over water hut, just beautiful. The only hint wrong was the mediocre to poor food and the apathetic waiters. Is was so bad we decided early on to pay the taxi fare to eat elsewhere. It was seriously a bad place to eat. Also, it was extremely hot and humid and the only place with AC was the rooms and one tiny shop. All else, including the dining room was open air. So be aware and prepared to sweat! The hotel had a great show of Tahitian dancers.

Tahiti is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Tahiti, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Tahiti hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
