Great staff. Looks like they are not keeping up the rooms. Paint peeling in bathroom. Electrical outlets loose, need to be replaced.

"Outstanding stay"
We spend 3 nights at this great cabin. The owners are on site and very helpful on area activities. They are the most accommodating hosts. The cabin was very clean and stocked with almost everything you could possibly need. It was right on the river and in the evenings us, along with the other visitors as well as the owners sat by the camp fire and really enjoyed the evening. We were even given LED hula hoops to play around with. We highly recommend the Riverside Meadows and will be back to see Fritz and Paula again. Thank you for a great weekend getaway.

"Absolutely loved our stay."
My husband and I travel a lot, and while traveling for winter activities we always end up staying at all different types of places. We loved our stay in the cabins, and can't wait to go back! First of all we had plenty of space, they allow dogs, so we brought both of ours. We have two boxers, and a XL kennel, the room was large enough to fit their kennel and all four of us comfortably. Second is parking, we loved the fact that we didn't have to park our snowmobile trailer somewhere else, far from where we were staying, it fit right next to our cabin, they have so much space for parking and for the dogs to run. They also aren't far from Wolf creek, and as we learned you don't want to be on the other side of the pass when it was snowing like it was when we arrived. Another thing we loved was that they had full kitchens, so the first night we ran to the store and bought a lasagna and popped it in the oven and were able to spend a cozy night in our cabin. Lastly, I want to talk about how inviting Kandy is, we didn't get the chance to meet her husband, but I can say that even though the other things were great that I listed, what will keep us coming back is the owners, you just cannot find people like her anymore. So I would have to say that if you want to see a friendly face, use their perks of parking, or just flat out want somewhere that feels like home to stay, I would recommend Chinooks every time.

"Quiet and comfortable enough"
I enjoyed two days by myself in a quiet small cabin. Bed was comfortable, kitchenette was fine, bathroom really small but water pressure in shower was good. There was a table, bureau, plenty of room in cabin. Wifi was sluggish; phone had 1 bar but outside had two. I didn't go in hot tub. I thought it was fine for the price.

"Super cute lodge with tons to do!"
My wife and I had a blast at Foothills Lodge. While planning a ski trip to Wolf Creek for a few night, we were initially enticed by the very low nightly rates for a king suite with a kitchen, as we quite like to cook when traveling. We were told on arrival that we'd been upgraded to a private, 850 sq ft cabin. It certainly had a (very comfy) king bed, plus a whole second bedroom! Alas, we couldn't convince any friends to come join us. The cabin was very comfortable and well appointed with a gas fireplace, two very large tv's that we didn't use, a crazy-well-stocked kitchen, and cozy living room seating. There was DirecTV if we had used the flat screens, and a large assortment of DVDs and games in the office that could be checked out for free. We were too busy skiing though, as Wolf Creek received 6 feet (!!!) of snow the week we were there. We did sooth our tired legs in the large hot tub, and could have gone swimming, outdoors in Colorado in January, in what must be a very well heated pool--the other guests using it were obviously having a blast. The whole resort exudes the pride and love of a family-owned enterprise, right down to Ronnie shoveling out our cabin first thing in the morning. Foothills is the exact antidote to humdrum, corporate sameness, and an absolute gem on the edge of some of the most beautiful backcountry you'll find anywhere. Can't wait to come back!

South Fork is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in South Fork, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your South Fork hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
