turned out better than expected. We read some reviews before booking some good some bad. we made our reservation rather late (close to the day we had to be there). Was prepared for what ever, things turned out really good. Room was very clean linen was clean. hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Only snag we had was breakfast. restaurant told us because it was a holiday and it was so busy we could not order off the menu. we had to have what was already made. 3 cold pancakes about 3 inches round. We will stay there again but eat somewhere else.

"Clean and close to highway"
Pros: Pretty clean place, located right next to exit from I-70. Cons: 1. Check-in was not very welcoming but we are humans and sometimes have bad days. 2. Upon check-in found that the third bed (reservation was made at least a week in advance for 3 adults for a king room with sofa bed) is not made. Upon calling front desk found out guests need to do it themselves. Not what I would like to do after almost 7 hours of driving but okay. 3. My email address was used to sign me up for Holiday Inn's account even though I explicitly asked to only use it for check out for this reservation. 4. We all were almost asleep when around 10:15 pm front desk person called asking if it was our car parked in the handicapped space even though we gave our car's make and license plate upon check-in so it should be easy to find out it was not our car. 5. For three adults we got only three towel sets. We would want clean towels for both a shower after a day of hiking in the park and another set for shower in the morning but alas. Didn't call the front desk for extra towels as two family members were already asleep.

"Clean, comfy and nice surprises"
We stayed one night on our drive from CA to CO. I would stay again. The bed was comfy and the A/C worked well. The room was clean and renovated (not fancy, but nice enough). My kids loved the pool, although my daughter complained the chlorine stung her nose. The breakfast had a ton of variety - something for everyone and the coffee was decent. The staff gave the kids a welcome gift with a coloring book and a few treats. There was lemonade and coffee available at any time and in the evening there was a baked potato bar and warm cookies. The hotel was in a safe location and very close to the interstate. My only complaint was the A/C unit was very loud when it cycled on. It was keeping me up but I finally just turned the fan to blow constantly and then the air coming on didn't wake me up. Overall, a good hotel and decent value.

"It is a place to sleep."
A manager checked us in. Did not explain wifi, breakfast and swimming hours etc. Stayed on the 3rd floor. In the morning the hallway was ice cold and at night the hallway was hot. Hot air was blowing out of the vents making it very hot and stuffy. Hair was on the bathroom floor.

Salina is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Salina, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Salina hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
